I couldn't tell honestly. I'm hoping it'll come in patch 2.3, but no specific information was given about when we would actually see these changes. They also stated that Summoners probably wouldn't get Ramuh or Leviathan Egis until there was a level cap increase. They also mentioned that they wasn't sure which (Ramuh or Leviathan) the devs were going to introduce first (Implying that they wouldn't come out at the same time?)

If the level cap raise is 5 levels (like back in the old FFXI days) then they just mean we'll only get one level 55 job quest and because of that only one new egi. It could also be a 10 level raise, but they want your egis to only come every 10 levels.

Regardless it seems to be very negative for any chance of Shivas. On the other hand perhaps Shiva will be the most awesome summon, and I'll die happily.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'd like to see it in 2.3 as well, simply because I think it would be nice to try something other than Garuda for once (though I'm so used to her abilities I may not want to lol).
