Nerfs are making the game less fun for "many" hardcore AND casual players

That is the exact reason for echoes I believe...or one of them. Its to help casual or new players catch up to the newest content. The release of the PS4 version may hav had a lot to do with it.

But I do believe that with every new content patch, the hardest content should remain so until the next big patch...maybe two. Ot allows vets to be challenged and new ppl to catch up. Once they do, they will be playing next new unnerfed content.

Casual players may be in trouble...but many of them like it b/c they dont have time. Its unfortunate but its an mmo and requires a lot of time.

And its impossible to keep everyone happy.

Watch their streams they do complain. Be in their guild and VoIP you'll hear them complain.

Just because they don't come here and vent it out doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I'm not new to the competitive scene and there's a reason why I choose to avoid it instead of taking a part in it.

So yes - that is my plan. Will I get there before things are nerfed even more? Probably not. I'd like to think a casual player can still get to majority of the challenges before they are nerfed to oblivion - but it takes a lot of work and crazy planning (which seems a bit unnecessary for a game).

Timed out on Titan EX last night and only passed heart once. i went with a group where 4/8 (including myself) has cleared it multiple times.

Someone in my Coil group was in a T5 "farm" that couldn't pass Divebombs.

Kind of funny that you bring up Titan EX and Twintania when i've mentioned in more than one posts that I can agree for the reasoning behind the nerfs for those two battles but not any others.

I agree with OP. I actually miss doing some of the older fights now. Early coil/ultima/CT etc. I could go back and try to find others who will turn off the buff and equip themselves in lower level gear, but we all know that won't happen. It isn't like the content is that old. New players joining the game will never be able to experience some good content to the fullest.

That's a neat trick because the game didn't re-launch till August...just saying. Otherwise you are partially right. Honestly though, difficulty level is a relative term because every person is different and some play the game better than others. This applies to the whole player base.

I'm very curious as well to which groups and free companies focusing on second coils will be venting and complaining and yet still force themselves to do the content.
