If doing it that way, when brainjack happen. Dreadnod will flip over to attack the person on pair with tank. (since the tank will move closer to the center from the start point which you said to be far from boss)Our tank stands as far in The Avatar's hitbox as possible, grabs hate on the Dreadnaught. Once the Dreadnaught is at him, he takes a few steps back as to pull the Dreadnaught further up so it won't cleave the Brainjack target, then moves back in while keeping the Dreadnaught facing away from the group. It takes some practice but once you have it down it shouldn't be an issue with the positioning.

If you position the Dreadnaught correctly, and the brainjack assist person stands correctly on the hit box. Both The Avatar and Dreadnaught will still face the tank and won't hit party. That's how my group does it, require a bit of practice to get it right though.

Tanking is a job, DPSing is a science and Healing is an art.
If the Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault. If the Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault. If the DPS dies, it's their own damn fault.
No, not always. It all depends on how much the Tank is moved when Brain Jack goes out.
Orophin sounds like he does it very much like I myself do ( or my Tank does )
Tank moves IN the HIT Box of Avatar ( almost to center ) to grab the Dread. Once aggro is set, he will take a few steps backwards, to move Dread closer to Avatar, then back IN on the Hit Box to limit his movement when Brain Jack happens.
This, is about all a Tank can do, the rest of it is on the person assisting the Brain Jack. In my case, a dps ( me )
If the dps is too far back, he will move the Tank, flipping the Avatar and/or Dread.
why do two shield lobs? Just tag the dreadnaught the instance it spawns with provoke and shield lob, one should suffice to get the dreadnaught's attention then proceed with your enmity combo. Save your Off GDC skills for the dreadnaught if you still can't pull it off healers.
As for dreadnaught position, ideally it should stack ontop of Avatar in the middle.
tank at the Avatar's targeting circle, you dont need to move to pull the dreadnaught.
The distant. Since you can not move from your location. If you not use 2nd shield lob, then it waste time waiting dreadnod to walk, and oftenly 1 shield lob isn't enough to get attention of him over AoE healing. We find that this is the most stable method to hold him out of party.why do two shield lobs? ฺBtw, is anybody here can provide the Tower order that work for the plan that make dreadnod pop after brainjack?

Hi there, I want to ask about skip wave-5 thing.
Is there any notification that you can easily notice that it already skipped? So that I can start my wave-6 Macro. Most of the time, I couldn't realize it that it already skipped until too late to start new macro.
(macro for telling the PT of which phase it is in, and which tower they need to go)
As you get more comfortable with the fight, you shouldn't need to rely on a macro anymore, because you know the timing in and outHi there, I want to ask about skip wave-5 thing.

(macro for telling the PT of which phase it is in, and which tower they need to go)At least this was the case for us.
One thing I did to reduce the risk of brain jack after the dread is spawned is focus target avatar and after I grab the dreadnaught when it comes time for brain jack castbar, I holmgang the dread/avatar, which ever doesn't matter. You do it right when brain jack goes off you won't move because you can't and the dreadnaught stays inplace and you can't run over to the target and wail on him until holmgang wears off on you.
Allagan Field will be going out with no towers active.Hi there, I want to ask about skip wave-5 thing.

If you're using 2 Lobs then you're too far from the Dread. It takes the Dread about 2sec to get to you. IMO the best way to grab the Dread is:
- Provoke
- Shield Lob
- Circle of Scorn
- Flash
- Spirits Within + Sentinel or Rampart
- Start Combo
I know some will disagree with the Flash but here's my reasoning. It's instant, has range, and hits both targets. With the above I've never lost hate on the Dread.
As far as your problem with the Dread hitting the Brainjack assistant or turning around, that's simply bad positioning by your tank and/or assistant. HERE is a video of our first clear using the above method on Dreads and showing proper positioning for the Dread and Brainjack that others have mentioned.
