Let's disassemble their post, shall we?

"Having to do content wherein all of my skills and progress is taken away from me and poses absolutely no challenge at all for progression sapped my desire to progress."
"Then I have to farm tokens, which are a slow crawl and means doing the same dungeon over and over."
"Then I buy the book and I have to do more things that I have already proven I am capable of doing, and am then forced to wait for certain events to occur that have a dismally low respawn, further wasting my time for no reason."
"I have done other grinds that took much longer than this but were still enjoyable, so don't tell me I'm just impatient."

This is all very reasonable and constructive criticism and is exactly what game designers look for, please stop whining about how some people have higher standards than you.

Are you serious? The weapon damage rating goes up to match an i100 weapon so your performance increases considerably.

He meant going from Zenith to Atma, which doesn't effect the weapon's stats at all.
