I also have resorted to filtering /t from the chat log I use (custom 4th tab). I have even taken it a step further and turned off the sound alert for /t messages. I do still allow /t to come into my "general" log; I only flip to that log once in a while for the sake of checking if I missed a /t from someone other then RMT.

Personally I find it unacceptable that SE doesn't implement measures to combat this problem. Many suggestions have been made that would help but the problem continues.

Q: Why can't they implement limits on number of /t a player can send per minute?

Q: Why can't a GM have a character logged into game and ban RMT upon receiving /t.

Q: Why can't players have the option for a whitelist they can toggle on/off?

Q: Why is the blacklist only 200 players? This is too small with the amount of RMT.

Q: Why can't SE give an easy way to report RMT same as they added /blist option.

Q: Why not track the delivery system for millions sent by players named i.e.GHGGDDS.

Q: Why can't we even get developer responses to all of these questions?

I don't have the answers, of course. Why not act with simple changes? I have heard responses saying most suggestions are too extreme. That may be true but what about the reasonable suggestions?

RMT are a detriment to virtual society.
