We are feeding... wait, the slimes can attack you? That's probably what the issue is then, I tend to flash the slugs right after they spawn so I can get aggro on them. I had no clue the slimes actually did anything, other than sit there waiting to be eaten.

If I don't aggro the slimes, will they auto aggro on someone else and attack them? Or will they only attack if you attack or flash them?

Once the slimes spawn litterally hitting them with ANYTHING will make them counter and hit you for a huge ammount of dmg, this includes flash even tho it does no dmg. Otherwise they just sit there and do nothing just giving you poison stacks until one of the slugs gets low and trys to eat them. So just worry about getting aggro on the slugs, the slimes do nothing and pop HG when one of the slugs turns into a super slug.
