This thread is missing the point, the design of this game is wrong, the content is not funny and it's highly repetitive, that's why most players just want to get their daily run done asap, on the other hand the MMO community has grown bigger and now is filled with people who used to play shooters, MOBAs or any other kind of action games, people that simply "don't care" about the community or the living world an MMO is.

And as tank this game is even harder, because every mechanic SE creates to make the game harder relies on the tank role, except for titan you can faceroll any battle as DD after 1 or 2 wipes while tanking requires a long practice.

    @OP
If you want to keep playing and tanking just lvl a DD do the first run as DD, learn the basis, and come back as tank, and for the next time, try to play every content the same day it's released.

I encourage you to do what this wise person says. My first character had bard and tank, tank the main because loved it, bard because also loved it and had to "discover" and make a "exploration" task before going tank a dungeon...

Nowadays before trying the new coild and that stuff, I decided to level up the bard and gear it up just for go there in a "recon labor"

In the end we vote-kicked that guy and yes, we may have wiped a few times, but we still did it and had fun learning the mechanics.
Then make your own party and go at your own pace. No one is forcing you to use the Duty finder or research mechanics.

This has to do with Speedruns, not researching fights to better prepare yourself.

To be honest, I find it whenever SE released new or extreme Primals for the first time is when I had the most fun and everyone is when everyone don't know the fight. Like Garuda Ex for the 1st time, everyone join in, we wipe, we were shocked, but everyone just giggle and go on with it and having a good time with it. Whatever happen to this? I missed those days. Now we just have people who expect one shot everything. 2 death = kick, pro only, don't waste people time, etc. Links weapon, all this bs. It seam as soon as people gasp the fight and the mechanic, most of them become elitist themself and forgot to take a seconds to think that this is just a game and it to have fun.

That's true, but if you want to reduce wipes you can't use DF or DR. When joining a group through DF or DR, I expect that someone might do this for the first time.
A few sentences of explanation of the general stategy and a normal run, no speedrun, work wonders.
And in PF you can select the people you want to go with.
I agree that a number of mechanics are just bad design though, especially considering connection problems/speeds of a number of players.

What I hate are people who use PF comments like "only exp" "checking achievements" "fail=kick" "show weapon" and so on, or silly ilvl requirements like ilvl90 for Titan HM *lol*.
Many of these "experienced" groups feel more like training parties though. Some people just try to get carried through content.

People fail, someone leaves, all go out, look for another member, go back in, someone fails, gets kicked, get out, look for new member, go back in,...
Yes, that's muuuuuch better than having people stick with a party and just finish the fight.
I've been in alot of "training" parties which managed to win the fight after a few tries.

    You're really nice

Sadly you are right. This is what it has become (or been like since forever, that doesn't matter really). I think the best solution should come from you because players just won't change... Take things more lightly, consider PF for first time (and state so in the comment), run with FC and friends...

Should not take those 12 years old kids who only log in to boost their e-ego seriously...
    Wish you the best!

and no one is forcing you to stay in a dungeon if there are people in it who actually want to experience it the first time without watching youtube videos to take the fun out of it.

I wonder is this a US thing?

I mean I play on the european servers I have about the same iLevel as the OP (am ilevel 67).
I never once had this problem. I never once had people calling my name and people where always willing to explain the fight if I didnt know what to do.

Unlike the OP I did read up a little on most fights but I didnt always mention that to the groups (because otherwise they might expect to much).

I did almost everything by dutyfinder since I didnt want to bother my guild with old content. Also if other people where new, they got the fights explained to them aswell.
I never saw any hate or elitism on the dutyfinder I may have been very lucky but from reading the forums a little it seems to me that the US servers are more hostile as the EU ones.

Honestly, tanks have it WAY easier than every other class in practically every encounter in the game, especially main tanks.
