That's my whole point. I'm part of the group that was in top 5 of downing T9, but that doesn't make me any better than anyone else playing this game.

Just a minor nitpick, and I'm sure it only adds to your point, but your group was in the first 5 claimed. There was at least one jp group that cleared a week before you on Alexander server.

There was also another one that cleared the same day as you on Bahamut. There also groups that simply stick to server progression like our own group, it's why going around parading your kill is so asinine because beyond world first you really don't know how many bigger fish are out there. Until they do stuff to make tracking kills a exact science it's hard to take global rankings seriously beyond the first, so getting a big head about it like doson here just makes feel like a parody of serious wow raiders.

I'm sure doson's posts are just an exercise in hyperbole though in response to the anti-raiding crowd; If he followed progression he would of known of your group. Raiders being privileged with gear is sort of a given with any game that put serious effort into raids, I don't understand how it is controversial here.

You are correct; I probably should have put a disclaimer in there. I was just trying to provide context since I'm sure not everyone was going to a look up on the lodestone to see if I had any credibility to what I was saying.
