Off the mark? You tried to down content and you failed. There's nothing more to get. What you're not getting is why you failed. Too bad. Maybe you'll figure out how to be a winner like me some day.
you know what I do when i want something? I work for it. But remember; when you work really hard to get that gear it's not special at all so don't think that k? Notice how I'm doing the whole satire thing?
Um, no. And no. And Hell no.Off the mark? You tried to down content and you failed. There's nothing more to get. What you're not getting is why you failed. Too bad. Maybe you'll figure out how to be a winner like me some day.

There were at least 2 jp teams that cleared before us, we know this because they streamed and one of them had a kill vid we mooched ideas off a little. Jp teams aren't excluded they just don't do the whole global progression thing, and even in en speaking teams progression tracking is fragmented; the tracking itself is an exercise in who claims first. BG is unambiguously the first but everything after that is really an exercise in calling dibs.Just wanted to point out that the "World Progression Thread" should be titled towards "US/EU server progression thread" because honestly it doesn't include JP players nor English speaking players on JP servers.
For example, Ad Noctum from Elvellon FC, Tonberry cleared T9 on 27th April, 16:10 UTC/GMT (28th April, 01:10 JST/GMT +9) which according to the so called world progression spreadsheet, would place them as 7th.
Not sure if there are any other teams in other JP servers who have cleared T9, but just didn't bother to announce.
They should really make achievements public so tracking beyond claims is possible. You can only be sure on a per-server basis right now.
The statics generally fell apart because of people leaving the game. Not really much that could have been done about it. One group shafted me when I went overseas, but I half expected that. I *might* look for a new one soon, but it's not something i'm particularly interested in at the moment. You said you couldn't do coil with other statics and you won't bother anymore.
Anyway, if you want to explain to how me choosing to not do content is "failing content", go for it.
I'm still maintaining that the most important "achievement" in second coil is having a solid, reliable raid group. Without everyone else you're nothing, keep that in mind.
Yeah that's why I pointed out that the current "world progression" tracking isn't that accurate because other than world first which will get confirmed by Yoshida, the rest is probably up to whether the team is bothered with leaderboard and bothers to announce or not. Even on our own Tonberry server, there are also teams who cleared turns but didn't bother to participate in the Tonberry progression thread. There were at least 2 jp teams that cleared before us, we know this because they streamed and one of them had a kill vid we mooched ideas off a little. I noticed on Lodestone they made some kind of leaderboard for personal and FC, I think they should just extend it to coil.
I'm still maintaining that the most important achievement is having skill and working together with a skilled team. A skilled player without a group is just a skilled player without a group who will quickly find a new one if they are indeed a skilled player. You say you went overseas? Not much time to raid? Bad times? Plenty of flexible groups out there. Some of our member don't have the best schedules but we raid around them.
Instead looking for a group and earning the gear you've decided to take to the forums and complain that the gear isn't handed to you through EZ mode content that everyone and their mothers can clear. How sad. If you really can't do it for whatever reason then it's time to play a different game.

Um, I'm quite happy for the best gear to come from coil. Do you even read bro? The hilarious part is, you even quoted it yourself.Instead looking for a group and earning the gear you've decided to take to the forums and complain that the gear isn't handed to you through EZ mode content that everyone and their mothers can clear. Don't make the mistake of thinking that I'm arguing for coil to not have the best gear, because I'm not.
