Are you sure the 30 minutes penalty is skipped if I leave before the initial cutscene is over? I just did one as a test and sure enough I got the 30 minutes penalty.

I think that if you do the roulette, and leave because you don't like the dungeon, you forfeit the roulette bonus. The whole point of roulette is not knowing what you're gonna do and there's an extra reward for sucking it up and winning with no warning about the dungeon it selects. Sounds like people leaving because it's not Brayflox or whatver FotM dungeon they wanna do, that's sounds like they're cheesing the system, and using it in a way that is unintential.
In conclusion: Leave during a roulette, forfeit the daily bonus.
horray, real life comparisons.
then u realize its a game not a job. i will do my job since i must be speedy.
this is a game, for my leisure. i work, come home and chill. if im not important, then dont worry

SeekerScorpio, talks about courtesy, yet they're the most rude poster on this thread.
ANYWAY, yes, this should totally happen. Like someone said before me, removing the daily rewards for leaving said dungeon would be a good incentive for having people stay. The only drawback to this would be not being able to leave a nightmare party (you know, the ones where a tank doesn't know what a tank is, DPS players do negative damage, and they ignore you when you explain to them what skills to use and how they work?), but I'll take the risk if it means one selfish player paying the price for screwing up three others.

I had to skip the castrum cutscenes due to impatient people. Everyone's always like "rushrushrush"
It would be nice to watch these cutscenes in the context of their respective dungeons, but they're also quite frequent and lengthy, and these are dungeons that people do on a potential daily basis as part of their roulette. Having players skip cutscenes is inconsiderate, but so is making seven other players wait. I don't think either side is fully right in this argument. It's a shame that i has to come to this, but making a "watching cutscene' PF would probably result in your best first experience for CM and Praetorium.

"Man I'm so glad these people are here to help me get through this content. I should show my appreciation by making them wait 7 additional minutes to finish the instance, especially when I can easily watch these privately in my inn room."
We had our own tanks in praetorium*, so we got to watch the cutscenes because the party voted to watch them.It would be nice to watch these cutscenes in the context of their respective dungeons, but they're also quite frequent and lengthy, and these are dungeons that people do on a potential daily basis as part of their roulette. It's nice cinematic effect when having a party of 8 confront the bosses.
"Man, it must be nice having a story roulette for people who haven't done story, i am glad that there are new players who want to experience the content without feeling rushed, lets help them and relax."
Isn't there only a reward for the needed class anyway?
Cmon, it's a STORY ROULETTE.

Ahh yes, because you're more important than every other player in the game, and can't go on without them, since the dungeon is so hard you have to 8 man it, and can't do anything less...OH WAIT, IT'S THE EASIEST 8 MAN DUNGEON IN THE GAME. Get over it, there will be new people who watch cutscenes. Just go on through the dungeon while they're watching it, it's not going to kill anybody to 7 man.
