Well few people have actually played their class to current "end-game" (as of 2.2).

I cleared all of the 2.1 content with my BLM and most of it also on my Bard.

I'm currently on T8 with my static as BLM and have carried people for all of the Ex primals.

No, because I'm not claiming to be some hardcore all day every day Raid content player. I've attempted Garuda Extreme dozens of times after I studied up on and played the fight enough, I never finished it before 2.2 because no one else I ever came across knew what they were doing. Because those exact people already had their pre-formed groups that they set to be their statics for other content. I was with the other people who didn't have enough time to play through the content, or were unable to because of their own skill. Yet I still know how to play my role through each of the fights. I don't have actual experience with Ifrit Extreme yet, and I know what to do for Titan but I have not cleared it because of what I already said.

You are right that I don't have tons of experience with pre-end game content, but that's all it is. A lack of actual experience, but I still know what to do when I actually get to it. The difference with you is you're thinking you're credible enough to diagnose who doesn't know how to use their class because you've dabbled in one Magic and one War class, and barely anything else. Crafting doesn't qualify you to be able to say "Hey White Mage, do you know what Shroud of Saints is so you don't AoE heal right before a fight? Hey PLD, have you tried emptying your MP with Flash at the start then rotating your Rage of Halone combo between each enemy?"

Because you are literally lacking in experience with most of these classes, which means anything you say to other people about them has little to no merit. I don't claim to tell people what they should be doing on a class unless I've had enough firsthand experience with it myself. Then here you are preaching to someone about Summoner when you have a drop in the bucket of time actually using Arcanist and not having even gotten the Job yet.

It seems you have no real experience of a lot of older "end-game" content, or the newer content.


So you really should get off your high horse when your going to start lecturing people about "end-game" content that you have not done on any class.


Having multiple classes at level 50 means nothing on it's own. I have 2 of the dow/dom classes at 50 on my main, I know BLM pretty well, but I'm not what I would consider a "good Bard", despite being ilvl91 or so. Though I would say I know my main class pretty well and have a reasonable basic understand of the other classes mechanics.

When was I lecturing anyone on end-game content? Do you have a quote that shows me telling someone how to play in T6 and beyond? Because all I've told you because you're too ignorant to actually recognize it is that you don't have any classes leveled worth a ****, don't preach to me to start off on how to play something if you've only used BLM and BRD. My god the irony that you're going to turn around and tell me what you've been doing for months is absurd in of itself. Don't tell me how to play SMN if you haven't used the class, and I won't tell you how to use BLM when it's only at level 32 for me right now. Capiche?

How you've validated in your mind how there's only two types of people that might do that and that there couldn't possibly be any other reason to do it. I don't remember putting a question in the OP that required an answer like that, must be a difference of perception because you think everyone is either a troll or bad player if they don't adhere to strict standards.
And I say again, seeing someone else use a class does not mean or validate that you know how to play it.

See now that's funny. I have used it a lot in Coil, which is what is the other half of end-game pre 2.2 was, which means since it was my main, it was my most used class. I forgot that >Didn't use it for all Extreme Primals means >No end-game content, oops. When really Coil was the more heavy focus for end-game since it gave armor weapons and accessories and not just accessories, Extreme Primals were there for people who wanted to min-max their characters to BiS lists, but you could still have full 90 gear from Coil with ease.

Every server has different players and people, I shouldn't have to explain that.

But here's the kicker for me. A geared tank, a Warrior nonetheless, not in tank stance, will do great DPS for a Tank class, better than Titan Egi could ever hope to do. So a thought occurred to me, why are they complaining about low DPS, when we could have Titan tank everything, they drop Defiance, and it's like we have an extra DPS on the field? They could be doing great damage without whining about "low DPS", and I actually get to use a pet effectively that gets seldom used in the end.

In essence if I manage him well enough, it's full-proof if the healer can heal appropriately. So why was this such a hard thing to grasp for anyone?

Your asking why don't people grasp that a War (Tank) should join DF and act as a DPS, so that you can use Titan Egi to act as the tank/dps hybrid.

Titan Egi holds really poor agro compared to a tank, it makes it a lot harder for the healer, as the pet is not in the healers party bar.

Any DG run would be a lot faster if you let a real tank do his role.


By joining a DF run and expecting people to play along, I do believe this makes you either a troll or a bad player.

If you want to do runs like that pre-make the party or go with friends.

If he fails at his job of actually being the tank, then he should step aside and let someone else do it, I didn't order and say the team should go along with what I had in mind, but I questioned why it still couldn't be done if done right, which it certainly can be. And that was the purpose of this thread, doing something that can be done and not adhering to "This is 100% how this should be done and you're a troll/bad player/loser if you don't do it." You certainly subscribe to that train of thought. Hotbar settings can be tweaked, I have mine set for WHM to be able to scroll through pets, since I realize the benefit they have to a party when alive, I wouldn't expect you to understand that not having leveled Summoner.

I am a decent Summoner, quote me where I said I'm "a great Summoner" because you like cherry-picking so much.


I have, I have WAR, DRG, SMN, and BRD doing end-game stuff right now, (also have PLD to 50 and am using that end-game as well, my bad shoud have included it). BRD is lower item level, all the rest have been used in Coil. So that's 4 to your 2 for End-Game, guess that means I have more experience if we go by what you always say huh?

You're certainly the one who is wasting a lot of their time to try and prove something to someone who you think won't ever change their mind, so why are you still here? Do you really not have anything better to do? Ok so I now have my ACN leveled to 50, SMN job taken and all class quests unlocked.

I've done some lvl50 content and now have my Levi Ex Weapon.

I can now say with some "merit" that from what you've said about this run you were either being a troll or playing poorly. xD
