No they will not quit the game. Just stop doing daily roulettes and make a HM Brayflox farm group like they should if they want to avoid "bad dungeons".the only issue with adding more severe punishments is that the quitters pay to play the game too. add too severe of a punishment and they quit the game. I suspect there are far too many of them to make this a good idea for the devs to do. don't forget. they are afterall a business first and foremost and they lost a lot of money creating the original FFXIV and making FFXIV:ARR hurt them a lot. they aren't about to risk a large portion of their userbase because some people dont feel the punishment is severe enough

I agree wholeheartedly on a more severe punishment for ragequitting. Also, take away the out of gate no punishment bug. With Vote Abandon in your arsenal there is no longer a legit reason to leave a dungeon without expecting some kind of punishment.
I would say raise the timeout to 1 hour and if you are doing roulette take away that roulette reward for the day. It might sound harsh, but clearly some people can not handle the freedom of being able to leave without severe consequenses without abusing it. Also, the fact that the DPS's gets the most crap because of this makes this a central question for me.

Yes, this needs to happen. If you're registered for DR and then quit your daily bonus should be forfeited. If you have no obligation to stay in the duty for whatever reason, then I have no obligation to care if you lose out on your daily bonus.
"My queues are fast, and I really only care about me. How can I have my fast queues, get only the dungeons I want, and still get the bonus for it as if it were actually randomly picked? I want pugs to be as good as my FC, with the right to bail on them without the currently established slap on the wrist for doing so. Please help!"
sick of your DPS queues being so long?? sick of getting bad tanks or healer?? sick of healers and tanks that think they can just walk into and out of any group they want?
then start a tank or healer, because one perk of playing an in need class is that you can get a group easier and have more freedom with what groups you join
its a good idea but seems pointless jerks will be jerks they dont care about anyone except them so they will keep doing it.
Yesterday I was queued into pvp. By mistake leaving brayflax ex still up from before. So entered into it even with my tomes maxed. I was just about to leave and realized these poor dps were waiting a while so just ended up doing it lol. Not all tanks are evil![]()
I agree. And I leave from time to time. I admit that I leave if the group is really bad. Even if I think we can do it. If I think that the dungeon will take about 60-70 minutes (when it use to take 20-30) for things like summoners that only cast ruin, tanks that don't tank at all, very bad DPS that do a lot of weird things... I usually leave. But penalty shoud be incresed. I will leave anyway cause I'm just tired of somethings. Being new is ok, but....... SMN that only cast ruin on Dzemael? come on...
And the "leave soon-No penalty"... that's just crazy.
I like the losing bonus idea, it's a start.
Sick of people bailing on your dungeon? Play a different class, so that you can be the dungeon leaver! This absolutely solves the problem, and doesn't just push it off on someone else!sick of your DPS queues being so long?? sick of getting bad tanks or healer?? sick of healers and tanks that think they can just walk into and out of any group they want?
