not what i was implying at all, however. if you started a tank or healer you could then be the tank or healer that DOESNT leave the instance at the start, thus becoming part of the solution instead of just complaining about the problem
I have all three roles with at least one job at 50, mostly joining as tank or healer. Even so, I still think people leaving groups especially for daily bonuses is a crap thing to do. Especially, tanks and healers. Having to roll a tank or healer shouldn't be the case whenever someone wants to run DR.sick of your DPS queues being so long?? sick of getting bad tanks or healer?? sick of healers and tanks that think they can just walk into and out of any group they want?
then start a tank or healer, because one perk of playing an in need class is that you can get a group easier and have more freedom with what groups you join
Had it happen every day for 2 weeks before so I feel your pain. I mean, things happen, so when you gotta go that's all there is to it. I think people queue for the roulette hoping for the one they want specifically along with the bonus...which doesn't happen a lot. That said, I don't see why they couldn't queue for the dungeon they want, and THEN queue for the roulette or vice versa.
they really need to fix all this !!!

And this helps people trying to level DPS classes through low level roulette... how?sick of your DPS queues being so long?? sick of getting bad tanks or healer?? sick of healers and tanks that think they can just walk into and out of any group they want?
then start a tank or healer, because one perk of playing an in need class is that you can get a group easier and have more freedom with what groups you join
This. Also if you're not willing to go to a random dungeon as a tank then just que for one you want. It takes like three seconds.
If they increased the penalty people just won't queue for dungeons at all? Would you prefer a 20+ minutes wait or an infinite wait because no one is queueing anymore?
Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for leaving a party in progress, but I agree something needs to be looked at to make this system more viable. One idea is to add 'strikes' to players who use the leave command during a dungeon in progress. The more strikes a person has, the longer their cooldown timer before they can run another dungeon after quitting.
So, it starts at 30 mins then increases to 45 with 1 strike, 60 with 2 strikes. If you have 3 strikes you can no longer queue in roulette and need to complete FULL dungeon runs to remove a strike.
I completely disagree with the OP. Penalizing people for not wanting to play a certain dungeon is beyond ridiculous. As if it wasn't enough that we're pretty much forced to spam DF, now people get penalized for not wanting to do certain dungeons or put up with the wiping of some pt's. Amazing how we pay to do something we hate, and if we decide not to do it, we get in trouble.

I just came from a Titan EX run where it took half an hour for the group to even see the heart phase, at 20% echo buff. It lived about 10 seconds into the add phase because the entire party went headless chicken mode and stood next to every bomb. It refused to vote abandon, so I now have a 30 minute lockout.
The next time that happens to YOU, come back here and say we need harsher penalties for leaving.
