I have been using Eos and Selene on Obey since february when i started playing sch as main. I am sure you didn't even understand what i was talking about if you consider those things an advanced scholar knowledge.

Was never saying that, can you read or only flame? What i said was about precasting succor to be a fraction of scholar abilities. But it caused so much hate, RumiP was right.

Unless you're a seasoned/experienced SCH in a good progression static or LS, it's probably best not to hand out healing advice. You may end up getting negative feedback like you see here.

FFXIV has a large error margin and repeating battles nature, thus progression level is not very good to determine one's skill. Most of things i learned were from fresh lv50 players who actually were exploring content themselves and doing things considered wrong by the majority, while they actually worked better.

Maybe it's just me, but when doing my duty roulettes, I hardly ever see Monk these days. I mean, not that I mind, because any Fistfighter set drops are mine for the taking, but it's still a little depressing that my favorite job has so little representation. D:

Thats because you are queuing as melee. The DF prioritizes balanced groups of 1 melee and 1 ranged. So if you join as MNK the chances are higher to get a BRD/BLM/SMN, while joining as ranged will most often give you a MNK/DRG.

From my experience, the queue times seem to be much longer as ranged dps, so i think they are more popular. Its also not that unusual to get a second ranged dps on DF.

Sorry if this has been asked a bunch of times. I just started back playing after a 5 month break since I can run the game on something reliable now. Anyways, i'm tired of seeing a Dragoon everywhere I turn so... What's the least played job? Is it still Paladin? If you could, please put them in order. Ty

And seriously, it has been said many times and probably everyone knows now about not using pets on Sic and <mo> macro - this is a basic scholar/summoner knowledge.

Indeed, i main sch but i play whm a lot as well and the amount of sch that doesn't seem to realize how to play is staggering.
Stuff like no galvanize before big predicted hits (titan stomps for instace), the fairy keeping on sync or not rezzing her when she is dead cause of careless management.

Actually for stomps, it's better to time it to hit right as the first stomp lands. More efficient use of it.

I did not mean my comment to look retarted - it was a reply to the previous post, i was saying that precasting succor does not make that much difference compared to all other things scholars can do.

But you can do it on top of the other things you can do as a scholar.... so where is it a bad thing to do?

So wait a minute, you're pulling the double standard on me by accusing me of "misinterpreting" his post, when he clearly misinterpreted the post before his. Or am I mistaken in assuming that people know how to play and equate pre-casting to timing with the beginning of an ability. Looks like everybody on this page is guilty of "misinterpreting".

And again Ix, what is up with you assuming that succor is the only thing we think is in the scholar utility pool, where did we say that, because I don't think ANY of us even hinted at that.
