I would not say that a minor galvanize (400 or so) makes much difference for the fight (unless people are undergeared). But what makes sch to be good is understanding they are a healer + buffer + debuffer + dps job. Healing/shielding is just a fraction of scholar abilities and puts you on the same level as whm minus aoe healing.

The least played is monk (on my server at least) and sometimes SMN. The least played well is certainly SMN imho.

My main is scholar and i never had troubles healing anything. But judging by your input in the thread you just spam succor/adloquium - that's 1/4 of sch skills. Probably reroll a WHM, you will do the same what you do now + better aoe heals...

I'd say warriors are pretty rare, at least compared to their counterpart. I honestly don't think summoners are rare. I see them a lot. As for melee, they're the most popular IMO, but very, very few are played correctly. Partly because there's more dodging involved; some people have terrible connection to the servers others simply have too slow reaction times.
