Well that's fine and dandy for you, honestly. No sarcasm there. I just don't trust anyone on my server who advertises it. :\

It's fine to feel paranoid about it, don't automatically trust people in MMOs. Reason people ask us, because we been selling wins since November 2013. We have worked our trust in the server and have a great reputation to getting the job done. We NEVER took someone's Gil and always followed our bargain. I don't mean to boast at all, I rather just tell you straight and be honest.
I agree with what you are saying about doing Garuda via Df its soul sucking that and grinding fates, I am considering having time away from them or failing that taking myself up to the tower in the observatorium and throwing myself off repeatedly lol
op, i understand your frustration , because i am going through this as well with titan ex. but as a dps , do you really have the right to complain and call others incompetent? as far as trial mechanics goes, most trials only requires dps to spam their rotation , avoid aoes and pay attention to their aggro lvl. whereas the requirements of tanks and healers are a bit more attention intensive. in other words, alot more is required of them. i hope you would see the light of things before you go around calling them incompetent.
Most of DF groups need 15-20% echo just to be able to kill garuda, because it is a dps check battle. If team disbands before that - they have not even tried to kill garuda but wasted time instead.
People did garuda before the echo, but with 1 healer. In DF there are 2 healers, so they must either both dps (very unlikely) or you need 20% echo to compensate this.
Other than that there are 3 ways team can fail.
1. Someone killed the spiny - mark the spiny 'target to ignore', it helps a lot with people who speak a different language.
2. Tanks forgot to provoke the spiny when 2 stacks are reached - create a macro with a sound signal so one of tanks will provoke when it is required.
3. DPS not knowing what to attack - mark garuda 'target to ignore' and adds by 1 and 2.
I killed garuda more times through DF rather than PF. Garuda is one of the very few endgame dungeons that are not a ping check, i hope there would be more dungeons like this. Next dungeons are a heavy ping check though.

Stop looking for excuse for the echo buff.
Echo buff simply makes fight easier, but you don't need it.
I did all EX primals via DF pre 2.2, 2 healers & 2 tanks, and only few people are i90.
You can clear any EX with i80+ gears with no issue. The only issue is whether the team knows the fight or not.

I never did garuda ex with less than 15% echo (no matter if DF or PF team). I play a healer so you cannot say it was my fault for stacking echo - i simply told author my own experience. Idea is not to disband before you fail at 20% echo.Stop looking for excuse for the echo buff.

I just completed this by getting into a farm party (as you suggested) and had to hide the fact that I'd never completed the battle before, because farm parties will boot you if you haven't cleared the fight once before... haha.
Now I just need to prepare for another 3 months of attempting Titan EX. Woo
This is wrong information. People (including myself) did Garuda with 1 and 2 healers long before the echo update. The fight is not that big of a dps race. It's a matter of memorization and execution. "Hardest" job in there is the tank's having to deal with plume mechanic.
My advice to OP: Join a PF group.
No, this is not a wrong information. Many people did it with 1 healer and most of PF teams were set for 1 healer. Fight is a dps check, no matter big or small team will wipe if it fails. This is wrong information. People (including myself) did Garuda with 1 and 2 healers long before the echo update. Do i see your advice anywhere here? Do not ever post just to prove someone wrong - it is useless and harmful.
My "advice" to OP: join a team that knows what to do. For titan you will need a 20% echo buff, be sure echo haters will say i am wrong.
