Summoner and Turn 7 - Do not Miasma 2

Miasma 2 is a bad idea to bind the giant. You have to be in melee range and they can hit you very easy. Also i think miasma 2 bind is shorter. The best thing to do is ruin 2 the giant, move it in position and swiftcast + miasma or just miasma to have it in place.

The Bard was kiting, not me. You can never kite with Miasma 2 anyways. If you're using it to keep it in place for someone else to kite though, that has no issue. I was using it as a DPS tool.

this is wrong, you should be DPSing as much as possible, if Miasma II can't be used, the so does Circle of Scorn or Flare or any AoE.

you just need to be aware of Renaud spawn times, they always spawn 30secs apart.

Yeah well, when you almost won you would perceive time differently, I believe they have a ranged timer of 30-40 seconds, unless it's exactly 30 seconds. I haven't counted it. We were around 30 seconds away from enrage as well.

Just gonna reiterate what I said. "To justify though, I believe Miasma 2 is always worth using, especially when you're the type of player that believe you should always have it up for that maximum DPS. It's just not worth using over this Turn due to the nature of Renaud and their random positional spawning."

I am one of those player that HAS to have every single DoT on my main target while others are fine with Miasma, Bio 2, Bio.

Anyways, thanks for listening to a bit of my rant guys, I'm going to go to sleep. Been a long night of T7 progression. I'm going to have to hunt myself a new static for the new week. My advice still stands: Do not use Miasma 2; You may hit a Renaud.

Miasma 1 is not "better". They are not mutually exclusive. Miasma 2 is fine as long as it is Contagion'd.

Well, technically Miasma 1 is "better". 35 potency of DoT versus 10 potency of DoT. Although Miasma 2 has the advantage of being a wide ranged AOE, Miasma 1 can be spread via Bane, along with the added duration from Contagion, whereas Miasma 2 cannot.

Miasma 2 is fine as long as it is Contagion'd.

Indeed, the only time you should really use it on a single target is if you plan to Contagion, otherwise you want at least two targets to make it worth it.
