Probably because the players you described are pretty rare.Reread the post you quoted and then take a look at the follow-ups I gave to RumiP for additional clarity. I recommend you read my statements carefully too. I tend to use very important and defining words to clarify them. I have a feeling you'd have the same puzzled responses if you don't... or maybe even if you do. /shrug

Same rule applies here for:
If you run into an asshole for the day, you ran into an asshole.
If you keep running into assholes, you're the asshole.
They're not that rare, from my experience. Though I guess they have been thinned out as time went on for this game. You'll usually still see them if something goes wrong in CT and Titan HM though. There's a few of those sorts in an LS I'm in as well. You'd be surprised about how often people actually fit well into the type of person I'm referring to and don't realize it themselves.

I've just had a look at the translations for the recent event which I believe has answers for my concerns. EX Primals will receive an expert trials roulette. If the reward is sufficient for this roulette, I believe it could bring back players who are good at these duties to help others who have not yet cleared them.
As for coil raids, I believe these are already scheduled to receive increasing amounts of echo, so it will be possible to proceed through them with anyone who is available to participate regardless of their skill level, eventually. I must say I am pleased with the way the game is evening out. It makes me wonder if a roulette for raids such as binding coil and second coil turns will eventually be introduced as they become casualised to suit players who are randomly matched together through the duty finder.
I will update my original post to reflect this.
I help people all the time, but they need to ask for it.
When I open the PF, on my server, I see way too many entries for difficult content saying something to the extent of "Know the fight", and hardly ever "learning party" or whatnot. I regularly join the latter or any that seem neutral or asking for help of some sorts. The ones that seem to demand some level of experience or skill might be posted by someone hoping to get carried, or attract people who really aren't very good at the duty. I actually don't mind carrying someone who asks for help, as long as I know that's what I'm getting into.
Concerning the DF, a lot of people quit or vote abandon way too quickly when they could use the practice of wiping multiple times and really learning the duty. One or two wipes is way too rash of them to decide that the rest of the party is holding them back, in my experience.
You know, I believed this for the longest time. I kept running into assholes, so I honestly believed I was the asshole. Until I realized that I help people, I go out of my way to be nice to others, and I feel good when my efforts make someone else feel good about themselves. Then suddenly, through that realization, it dawned on me that I'm not an asshole, the RNG is an asshole who keeps shoving other assholes into my face.
It might not have been RNG, it could have been people trying to dance with you and you just not knowing their customs.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surra_de_Bunda
