No. Blue Garter would highly disagree with this. The best gear shouldn't be obtainable in 2 hours. That would defeat any hopes of achieving completion of things like Turn 9, etc.
Why do you people just want everything handed to you?
This is how MMOs have always been. This is the true statement.

Off topic, but correct me if I'm wrong, but I've seen Bayohne and Camate comment and reply on number of threads.
On topic; they'll just toss OP's post, along with all the other similar threads, in the bag of negative feedback. Atmas will get a nerf at some point. Its pretty much guaranteed. I mean, if they're gonna nerf primals and coil with echo, Atmas are pretty much in line for a drop increase, or whatever else will increases your chances of landing one. Patience is virtue. Shame so many people lack it.

Yes. it does matter. If it were easy, like zenith was, then relics would never be granted comparable stats to high allaghan.
The plan is, they will. And they aren't skimping on the roadblocks to make the prospect difficult to achieve, and rightly so.

this isnt DIFFICULT rng fate grind does not equal difficulty, it means that even if you have the skill, the time, and everything else, but luck you CANT get this part of the quest you are doomed to never be able to progress your relic. as it is there a people who have an animus weapon and an atma of another relic, and there are others who like myself have put in the same amount of time as the first person i mentioned who dont even have a an atma weapon because rng has been a major roadblock. this isnt the wall of titan hm this is pure luck lottery based results. good luck showing me where this quest is a test of skill....
I basically quit playing FFXIV; there's no weapon available for me to get, really. I can grind out the new dungeons for my upgraded armor, which is fun, but I haven't been able to get past Titan Extreme to get the Leviathan Extreme weapon. I'm actually playing Dark Souls II instead, because while it's brutally challenging, it's not subject to RNG crap.
The problem with the Atma fate quests is that it took some developer twenty minutes to program but he expects you to spend 20 hours finishing it. It's lazy and unimaginitive. I'm all for challenging gear, but this isn't challenging, it's just tedious. They may as well give you a weapon for submitting a video of smashing your own hand with a hammer. The only thing this quest measures is how much time you have to waste getting a weapon, not how good you are at the game.

It s not difficult get it ... it to be lucky !!! I do fates since patch came out and I'm 2/12 ... what u gonna tell me I'm a noob ??? Lol , i gave up I don t like , it' s not playing just going around and you have to be lucky to find ppl still doing the quest otherwise if you are alone on fates it takes hours and that s not fun at all

High allaghan is a test of your skill. Atma is a test of your patience. Both are difficult, but in different ways, otherwise everyone would have them right now.
So you quit... because though you are all for a challenge, you don't want to prove how good you are at the game to tackle on the EX's. Also because you couldn't get what you want easily because 1 item that people didnt have before echo and ilvl100+ anything is holding you back from taking up the challenges other did without it. gotcha.I basically quit playing FFXIV...

just saying... people have been completing content with the zeniths for awhile now... not sure why you need a i100 with no stat changes to beat something that gets echo but good luck.

I swear if people spent less time complaining on the forums and more time FATE grinding they'd probably all be on their ATMA books by now. If you don't want to farm atma, get the soldiery weapons.
SE will implement changes as they feel are necessary and not immediately bend at the whim of the q.q threads. Reactionary policy is rarely well thought out or well implemented. Give them time, as more content is rolled out the previous content is made easier. This is how FFXIV:ARR works. If you can't sink the time now I am sure they will improve the drop rates for the less dedicated after another phase or two of the relic quest has been released.
Don't buy it? Compare how much time it took to get a relic in 1.23 vs. now. I far prefer the ATMA grind over Hamlets.
