Why can't Paladin get nice swords? Seriously... Why do they all have to be so ridiculously over the top come endgame? I dread to think what Great Swords will be like in this game... We're already wielding giant metal girders, Great Swords will probably be buildings at this rate...

That said, the sword being used in the artwork for the background is great. Please be the Zodiac weapon... Please be the Zodiac weapon... Please be the Zodiac weapon...

These look good but I hope they're not the new AF/Relic items. I dunno, I expect relic stuff to be prettier, flashier or just more iconic. These look like random high-rank adventurer things. Love the BRD one but I prefer the original concept for AF2 we saw on paper in a previous live letter.

So they're giving more use to the old shirtless bald guy, apart from sending us on Relic quests. One-at-a-time -shakes fist- That's good Maybe that's how the master crafter recipes tie in as he's a master crafter in a way too. Fingers crossed that it's not just another kill this in an arena, then this in another arena, then thiiiiis in yet another arena and talk to me to get your stuff.

This. I think after reading it that the weapons we have been using were forgeries and now we have to get ilvl 90 relics and upgrade them to 100. I hope so and introduce new fights for the relic reborn quest.
