Update surecast to include movement. Increase thunder procs from 5 to 10%. I don't think that BLM would need much more. This plus egi rebalancing would make a tough choice between the two casters after the next patch.

Could be called Ardor/Supernova - places a pulsating sun down the field.
15second duration, 3.5 cast time, 50 Potency every pulse.
I mean, they are already AoE kings, another one won't hurt them BUT they'd still have some kind of spell to have damage while they're moving

One of the biggest issues of stacking firestarters is the huge burst of threat we can create probably making it hell for some tanks. only thing i can think of is there is a 20% decrease of dmg of a consecutive firestarter cast which may prompt people to save it for movement phases as the debuff can be eliminated by casting another spell (prob reapply thunder then cast for example) there is alot of potential they can do, i just hope its not a flat out dmg increase on our fire spells. maybe less of a penalty while in ice n increase ice dmg a bit, there are just many ways to approach our issue with sustained dps.
Pvp isn't that bad, try it with friends unless you don't have any nice friends that would get mad over 1 loss.
More ppl should join it and if the said buffs applied to pvp then ppl would be like dannnng them blm sure are fiesty.
Also if you are so rabble rabble on turn 8 about blm movement etc , ask your whm in ur group ( if you have 1) how do they manage to move and heal.
All assuming that you are doing landmines or towers or having trouble positioning urself in the circles?
Imo i agree with akira, give them a rebalance that buffs them in a way that doesn't make other classes go wtf lol.
Whm got their medica 2, cure3, holy, thunder and something else reworked.
So if blm recieved tht movement buff then surely they'll be nerfed later on to compensate that buff until all other classes get buffed / reworked.
Well it's still our responsibility to not burst so hard at the beginning of fights. if it's a problem in the long run get better tanks. no need to penalize our dmg.
