some ppl sell some items at or below vendor trash just to help out and not be these greedy money grubbing backstabbing players who would sell everything including their grandmother for the top value possible + 200% or sometimes too all they want is to level and make a 99 stack of something then just sell it quick to get rid of it. I do this a lot my self. has nothing to do with being competitive...Ill post huge amounts of low lvl mats that iv collected doing w/e for vendor price just to help ppl out. stop being greedy...Its just a suggestion, SE doesnt have to have a 10% and 50% floor. But its a starting point to get a discussion going. If a buyer just ignorantly puts up items at extremely low prices then that ruins the economy. What they should do is look at the market board and compete with the other players, just don't drop the price to almost nothing. If someone is going to sell items for NPC value then go sell it to an NPC. The reason a buyer agrees to a sellers price this way is that they are taking advantage of ignorance.

anyways I'd like to see materia and crafting being more useful in raid dungeon type gear, say crafters could add sockets up to 3 per chest/legs/2Handed weapons; 2 per hat/gloves/feet/1Handed weapons; 1 per accessories and off hand items. weapons could give elemental dmg to enemies, all other sockets could be stats considered non primary for ex. plds could slot some piety or elemental resistance but not vit str ect in to craft sockets. if elemental resistance is used and its the same type ie fire could radiate a soft fire aura and the same for weapons. This is just a quick rough draft but this could give raiders that reason to have a craft especially if only you could do it to your own armor and not anyone else's.

No 24 man parties please. CT is way too easy because there are so many players.
Good ideas OP, but 8 man parties are more fun.
She's currently using the miqo'te skeleton/animations (pretty sure), however her race is definitely Not Miqo'te. Her tail is scaley first of all. Her ears are far longer and... droopy? Also, in the story quests involving her when asked about her getup she explains that basically she doesn't want to cause a ruckus based on her appearance when they need help atm. Since people fear that which they don't know/understand.
Hell NO! CT may be easy but it's hella fun. I love the whole alliance of 3, 8 ppl parties. In addition, as easy as CT is, it's also easy to screw it up. I'm sure as they add more CT it'll also continue to get harder. Especially given the current CT is the very first n all that ;P

wow seriously?? who says that the ppl trying to make some gil are "greedy money grubbing backstabbing players"? who says im being greedy? I spend alot of gil on the boards and in turn i hope to make a lot more, if i was greedy i wouldnt spend any money. FYI great MMO's have a good economy.some ppl sell some items at or below vendor trash just to help out and not be these greedy money grubbing backstabbing players who would sell everything including their grandmother for the top value possible + 200% or sometimes too all they want is to level and make a 99 stack of something then just sell it quick to get rid of it. The problem is that the game gives a rather poor explanation of how to check market prices and historic prices when putting things for sale. Atleast I didn't know for quite a while that I could check that.
I will put things up for prices depending on my time and effort needed, price history and what my own investment was to get to that point. Does that mean I undercut or inflate my prices no. I look at the prices and usually go for the lower to middle tier with most mats. Especially base mats(ore, wood, mats).
And I agree with Valthein that it's good to put stuff on the MB even at NPC prices. Why? Money needs to flow not remain static. And to flow it's better if it goes to players and circulates between them then to go into gil sinks.

It would also flow if people set the price 10 gil above what they would get by selling it to a npc, not 10 gil under it.
Prices that are lower than a NPC would give you are for me crashed prices. The seller make loss, the buyer make profit with selling it to a NPC.
