It would be nice to have the Pugilist guild and the remaining Monks team up together and offer random repeatable quests.

A FFXIV equivalent of the Maat fight in FFXI would be cool... maybe an evil mirror/clone of your character as that particular class, created by the great dark crystal, that you have to defeat? You'd get some cool interaction (hopefully something more than just the usual 'stoic nod') with your evil self, and it would really require you to be a master of your class to kill easily/effectively.

"Well, it's no Vana'diel, but it'll have to do..."

Long time reader I had to register for this. I like this idea, it'll be good with the token system they're using for people who can't play more then 3-8 hours a day.
Maybe add more duty fights from the story fights and the class and job quests.

That could work. There are alot of fights in the story and the class/job quest lines that could be reworked with a higher difficulty.
(Sorry for the late respond been busy.)

Beast Tribe Quests, 4 types of timeworn maps, gathering, crafting, soloing fates (can include atma grinding), Hunting logs, grand company logs, weekly challenge log, spiritbonding gear, leveling chocobo companion, quests and sidequests and then finding the highest place you can jump from and doing it just to hear the crunch/splat at the bottom... there are *many* things you can do solo at end game.
If you want solo content I suggest playing FF 1 - 10 and 12 - 13 or any other single player game
Don't forget this game is still just 9 or so months old and I'm sure they have a lot more content planned![]()

Personally, I would like to see new types of levequests for people who are max level, or have reached a certain gear level. All of my classes are 50, so other than my relic books, I have little to no reason to do leves anymore. I think it would be nice to see leves reward small amounts of Myth or Soldiery tomestones, or perhaps certain hard-to-get items like Peacock Ores, Saurian Skins, or Glazenuts on rare occasion. That, and/or come up with some sort of system that utilizes exp gained past Lv50 for something so at least I feel like I'm progressing towards something.

None of these helps you to develop your character, it's just useless and repetitive content. Believe it or not, solo content is an important part of a MMO, why do you think there is a kind of player called soloer or solo player?Beast Tribe Quests, 4 types of timeworn maps, gathering, crafting, soloing fates (can include atma grinding), Hunting logs, grand company logs, weekly challenge log, spiritbonding gear, leveling chocobo companion, quests and sidequests and then finding the highest place you can jump from and doing it just to hear the crunch/splat at the bottom... there are *many* things you can do solo at end game.

This game needs solo content, useful and difficult solo content that can help the players to develop their characters in an alternative way.
I'm not asking for coil gear from solo content, but actually if you're a pure soloer you can't get more than 50-60 tomes a week, and that's investing more time than the 6 dungeons you need to reach the cap.
As a side note, even if the soloers want to spend most of their time soloing content, they do group content sometimes and enjoy the living community a MMO is, i think this can be a bit difficult to understand for the new generation of players, but we have been playing MMOs since the start, you can't say a MMO is no game for a soloer.
