Cause gear = skill LOLOL
And to the OP, why are you quitting over one weapon among the multiple amounts of new weapons, leviathan, weathered, upgraded weathered, and the high allagan weapons

You have turn 1 and 2 loot and your achievements are private. What are you doing if you're not doing relic or raids?
They should really make achievements public so data can be scraped for statistical reasons but also when people talk trash its transparent.

Hate to tell ya, but your gear and jobs leveled very much look like those of a casual player. Mostly myth gear, only 1 allagan piece (it's nerfed AND in DF), only a few 50s, etc.
Not saying it's a bad thing, but it is casual.
Also your achievements are hidden, so there's that.
You are not a casual player, that is the problem. This game is designed for casual players. The super grindy/RNG bits patched on at the end are really just that, a make-shift patch in an attempt to keep some non-casual players occupied until new content comes out.
I suggest stop treating this as anything other than a casual game, and then you may truly enjoy it ^^
I'm on my first atma and 700+ Fates (check achieves if you do not believe me)
5/12 ATMA.
This is absolutely ridiculous and I'd like SE to at least, at very minimum up the droprate by 15%.
Yeah, yeah, yeah I know I can get other weapons, no one's holding a gun to my head--but I thought the game was supposed to be fun for everyone and versatile? All major weapons are gated either behind content that requires a pretty good group to acquire which is rarer than you may think or some obscene grind now and that's just plainly discouraging.
All my friends quit this game, an entire FC worth of them and I migrated to a new FC over it. I have an acquaintance that tells me the same exact thing just happened to her FC and her coil statics, they all say the same thing:
The grind is just plain boring, and not fun.
Please SE, change this, doesn't have to be EASY, but change this system. You could at least create alternative methods to acquiring ATMA.
