Really though, why do you feel the need to interject multiple times in every thread about the issue? If the complaints bother you then just stop reading them.

You're mistake, is assuming I read all of those threads. In fact, you don't have to read ANY of them, you just have to look at the title, which before you say "well you don't have to read that either" you actually do have to read it to get a simple understand of what the thread is(sometimes misleading though). I have read a few, we all have.

No, it's twelve 2% drops, per weapon, that by themselves don't even get you any reward, they simply grant you the ability to start upgrading your weapon.

Anyone that isn't an utter masochist can see the glaring problems with the system.

The number you need is not reflective on the item's drop rate. It is STILL a 2% drop rate. When I needed 5 Heavenly rathalos scales, which are 1% drops, they weren't magically a 5% drop. And if you think it's that big of an issue, then you haven't played a game with real farming in it. This game is pathetic when it comes to grinding.

We need some kind of place where people can complain about terrible game mechanics and lick our wounds while sharing in each others' sadness. Maybe some kind of internet forum? I don't know...

Ah, but see that's where you're only half right. You can complain on a forum, however too many complaints relating to the same topic usually warrants action on other forums. Any forum that doesn't begin locking and eventually punishing users for posting the same thread over and over is one that A. doesn't moderate it's forums, or B. has mods that are more fixated on banning people for flamewars. guess which kind of forum this is. Everyone is free to complain, however this forum is reddit level bad with much crap people cry about on it. Hell, LoL's official forums aren't this bad, and there's 40 million people playin that game.

See you have confused telling cry babies to get over themselves, with actual whining. Common mistake when a forum is 90% whining and 10% actual discussion. Also, it's a lot more productive then the cry about atma threads we see everyday, because it's something different.
