Yes this game is a prettier wow, but thats kind of the point, WoW is ugly as sin and although it is better in pretty much every aspect this is still a new game which they are building upon.

It's unfair to compare it to WoW because WoW has 8 years of content and experience behind it.

True enough it is easy to get bored in this game but nobody is saying you have to stick with the game 365 days a year, if you get bored take a break and come back in the next major patch.

Aheh. People are so unflinchingly literal, its hilarious.
He means that WoW has dated graphics, while FF14 is a newer game and is of course better looking.
WoW looks dated because its old as dirt, but because its old as dirt, it also has a load more content. It isn't fair to compare them because FF14 is a recent game built with new technology while WoW has been sitting around forever and has had plenty of time to make adjustments and amass content.
