Not working as intended if you postpone a patch because what you considered reasonable was not.http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ll-Translation
"It's planned in a way that not many people will have finished the elements from the 2.2 patch by the time 2.25 is available."
Working as intended
But carry on with you hyperbole.
a month and a half of the forums being 60% atma QQ can change ones views apparently.
When the content was introduced a month ago, this was the expected and desired outcome, its only changing because lazy people whine 24/7
Also how am I exaggerating (the definition of hyperbole if you actually looked it up) by posting the Exact words of the creator of the game and pointing out that what he said is exactly where we are at?
nice attempt to use buzzwords to sound smart though.

this is right in the fact the majority hates the atma animus quest line so yes it's changing.
it's wrong in saying lazy, has nothing to do with being lazy. just because someone puts 6 hoops in front of you to jump through doesn't mean you're lazy for not doing the tasks.
Are you calling all of the people that have farmed Atma for 60+ hours with three drops lazy?
Laziness has nothing to do with it, it is pure luck. Grats on having gotten it spending less time than others, but it doesn't give you the priviilage of accusing others less fortunate of being lazy.
on the contrary, I have 2, and ive gone long hours trying myself. Are you calling all of the people that have farmed Atma for 60+ hours with three drops lazy?

see, THAT was a hyperbole.

I don't need you to tell me what a hyperbole is, but congratulations on your two Atma drops.
My point is that the entire Atma thing is not fair because A. It's not really testing someone elses skills and B. someone that has spent the same amount of time grinding as you have may have their weapon while you only have two drops.
It's called having empathy, try it out sometime.

It took me about a week and a half of grinding, at two hours a day, to get all my Atma. Am I glad the grind is finally over? Heck yeah. Do I think the grind is just fine? Heck no. It needs to change. There were times I got so frustrated with the grind that, in order to keep from breaking my keyboard, I had to quit playing FFXIV and go off and do something else. I'm personally hoping that when 2.28 goes live, they at the VERY least, lower the Myth costs on the books and/or increase the drop rate on the Atma. Just making the books cost 1000 Myth rather than 1500 would make that part much faster, without needing to 'nerf' the actual challenges. Though, personally, I'd prefer the Atma drop rate buff. >>
Don't even bother, people that defend Atma are just goblins that want the rest of the community to not have the shinies they were lucky to get, or some kind of bizarre white knight from XI that feels like this is a stealth Tanaka resurgence and want it to be so.Are you calling all of the people that have farmed Atma for 60+ hours with three drops lazy?

lets see, do I have atma yet? no.
Did I enjoy XI? hell no.
try again.
