The reason Summoner needs revamp threads keep popping up

While everyone is posting what they want there jobs ultimate ability to be I'll give some suggestions
Dragoon: 15 hit Blitz combo ending by firing a massive fire ball from their lance
Monk: 99 hit heavenly fists of fury
Bard: Gets a song that cast haste and increase party damage by 20%
Black Mage: Get Ultima
Summoner: Transforms the Egi into its parent primal for 20s
Paladin: 15 hit Blitz combo ending by throwing their shield so hard it turns into a meteor
Warrior: Bersek Mode moon turns blood red casting slow on its target and the Warrior does a 99 hit combo
White Mage: Revive and Restores 100% of the parties hp
Scholar: Restores 100% of the parties hp and increase hp and mp regeneration by 30%

The reason why posts such as those keep popping up lies only in that players are unable to accept the job, which is powerful in its own right, is complete. People have commented on the lore reasons for all that you have stated ad nauseum. In fact, much of the lore you are stating has little to no empirical (in-game) evidence. I.e., egi require more aether than a primal.

Mechanic wise it's fine, aesthetic wise.. Yeah not so much. All other FF games, including FF11 you summon actual Primals but not here.. here you get a mini version that is bland. The LB doesn't fit(where does the staff come from when we use books) etc. It's all fluff related issues we want to have changed.

For LB I suggest the following. The only class with multiple summons should have RNG based LB in terms of animations. Our LB should be a Primal Signature move!

For example

Fight 1 ) Summoner uses LB, Ifrit's Hellfire rains down on the battlefield.
Fight 2) Summoner uses LB, Levi's Tidal Wave rolls over the battlefield(if we had a Levi Egi)
Fight 3) Summoner Uses LB, Garuda's Twister

etc.

They could change the underwhelming Enkindle which has a 300s cd and make it worth it's long cool down by having it make the Egi temporarily become it's Parent Primal for 20s then do it's ultimate attack.

Please, rewatch the cutscenes of the job quests. It explicitly states that

Here she states explicitly that you call the captured essence of the primal.

Captured, again, being the operative term.

So, in closing, summoning consists of a few steps:

1) Defeat the primal and take its essence into yourself. (We assume this occurs by all who defeat a primal and survive, not just summoners.)
2) Find a place in which the aetheric balance is strongly shifted to support that primal, i.e., Sagolii desert for Ifrit.
3) While in that place, shift your personal aetheric essence to match that element and call the egi out.
4) The egi will be wild, having the qualities of the primal it was torn from. Defeat it.
5) After defeating it, you will have access to the egi. From here on you can do steps 1 and 3 in order to summon the Egi for your use.

What I find pretty funny is that Akiza pulled the definition of a Summoner from a Wikia page, which is not an official source from Square Enix by any means. Part of Wikia mission statement is
