Saddest news all day, sadder than zoning in to a zone to see the FATE I needed was up only to have someone else finish it before I could reach it. ;____; I want to work on my relic more. Now I gotta wait another month (since they likely wont be doing 2.28 til the end of May).
inb4 the May release of Novus just creates new fates (where you aren't ability locked!!! GASP!!!!!) to spawn sphere scrolls from
That's why you have other options for weapons.Do you people understand that for players like me that can only get the time to grind atma 5 hours a week, i will obtain my atma in like a month. THEN I have to geth 13500 myth. The rate I accumulate them now is something like 700-800 per week. This mean i'm gonna get Animus in like 6 month ++. This mean patch 2.3 and surely patch 2.4. This mean more quests about relic.
Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!! I so don't care that the quest is postpone. Will it be ever possible to finish the relic quests for atma / animus / novus for a casual player????? Is this weapon only for pure grinders and no lifers??? Because I can't see the end of it for myself
No point arguing about all that now. Those that were lucky enough to get your atma weapons, just be glad that lady luck smiled upon you.
Remember, this is an MMORPG, not a Single Player RPG.
Your experience and enjoyment does not equate to Square Enix's income.
The majority of the community's enjoyment equates to Square Enix's income.
10 happy customers paying $14.99 monthly compared to 1000 happy customers paying $14.99 monthly, do the math.
Square doesn't care that you can't progress your animus because you lucked out earlier than many many others.
Square cares that a MAJORITY of the playerbase have yet to get it be it either due to bad luck or loss of interest due to all the "See you later!" and "Don't do it if you don't like it!" posts. Along with all the "It can't be that long, I got 3 Atma weapons already, in a span of 2 days per weapon".
Bah what does it matter anyway, even if they did release the upgrade this patch, the same bunch would be crying for more in 2.28, 2.3 and more. They will never be satisfied. What was that term used to describe these people again? Oh right, content locusts.

They probably thought people would be on their 5-6 book, not 1-3 book. So they are thinking up ways to adjust the pacing.
2.28 would probably land in 2 weeks or so anyway. Given how most people are surpised 2.25 landed a measly 4 weeks in.
Atma Segment; 12~60+ hours
Myth Segment; 13500 Myth or 270x Brayflox Longstop (HM); 50+ hours*
*Book Segment; 3x FATE, 3x Leve, 3x Dungeon, 10x 10x Monsters; 2~3+ hours
Atma is clearly in need of adjustment; the RNG factor makes it entirely too exorbitant as far as time invested. Mythology Tomes also need a adjustment; I'm saying roughly 50+ hours based on a perfectly in-tune group running Brayflox (HM) SR and that's without adding the breaks between runs to complete Books.
As far as difficulty goes; there is nothing particularly challenging about any of the content involved. However, the time investment is clearly disproportionate to the reward. Many players have likely realized this and decided to wait until something changes before pursuing the Zodiac quest.
If this is working as intended, then why are they releasing new content on the quets line so fast? (may) because in my FC, nobody have animus in 50+ people and 5 have their atmas. I don't want to make bad assumption but i really think that less than 1% of the whole player base have their animus and maybe 5% have their atma (I know i came up with these numbers but i must'nt be so far from the truth)
NoRyoKu
because they knew some people would allready be done.
they stated that MOST would not be done with step 1 by the time the final step to the zodaic weapons were available.
Working as intended.
