When you select teleport to which housing area from the town, the screen also list the price for all lands for sale.

I don't have access currently to the game - out of town.
Ive seen as low as 1mil to about 12mil on behemoth.

still depends on server and size of house. Small house on Leviathan cost us just a little over 2mil
Can't tell, as almost all of the houses on my server are bought already. Told you SE made them too cheap.
They didn't make them too cheap. They just didn't make enough of them. They're supposed to be adding wards whenever the initial ones fill up, and they've been too reluctant to do so. When implementing FC housing, they should have sized their system for every FC to have a house. When implementing personal housing, they should size their system for every character to have a house. If they can't do that, then they aren't ready to be putting in a housing feature in the first place, let alone adding to it.
So they should know in advance exactly how many fcs will grow to be big enough to buy a house? They didn't make them too cheap. They just didn't make enough of them. They know how many FCs there are on each world. They know how many houses are taken and free. Before the housing feature was implemented, they should have ensured that they could (as they said they would) be able to add additional housing wards whenever they're needed.
They've certainly known all along the maximum number that could ever be needed. (It's the same as the number of FCs for FC housing, and the same as the number of characters for character housing.) They can also see when their current wards are filling up, so they also know when that additional capacity becomes needed. They know the total, and they know the timing of how fast demand rises to meet that total. So no, they don't have any "unexpected demand" excuse available to them.
why would they add a whole lot of servers for housing if there not going to be used for years.!?
they add them when needed to keep costs down to save them money and ultimately you as well. there's no business out there that has 10x as much space as currently needed just incase they need it in the future.!?
however I agree that if a server housing is all sold they should add some to that server to accommodate the people who want one but can not get one.
strange awareness of ghosts that no longer haunt this shell.
