Yoshi-P New Classes/Jobs Release Plan.

The Lore of dark knight has yet to be written in this game, so lore issues aren't a big deal. I'd say instead it comes down to does a class need two jobs to do the same thing? In my opinion it does not. So unless Dark Knight is coming from a class that doesn't exist currently in game(perhaps a two handed sword class?) it shouldn't be a tank.

Could have a blood based base class, and then have it branch into dark knight, and some other like heavy armor type magic class? Dunno lol

Dark Knights are all about power for the sake of strength rather than toughness.

actually is possible to make a Dark knight even in this setup, i means we can perfectly see a Dark knight that cripples him enemy for boosting himself. it will be like, he steal him stregnth for use it against him target. can be pretty funnier, i often read too that people want an evade tank, they can make the dark knight do this, using some sort of spell called the Dark Mantle increasing him evasion and making harder to hit.

They really need to be careful when they release new jobs because everyone will flock to it and queue's will be bogged to the extreme.

They need to release a set of them at the same time.

Example: Dark Knight (Tank), Chemist (Healer), Thief (DPS) Time Mage (DPS/Support)

We really need new mechanics with these classes too... and new abilities for everyone at the same time to promote new mechanics in battles

Red Mage - maybe a cross between melee and caster dps. Melee combos with magic attack finishers (or vice versa). Depending on finisher you'd inflict some type of debuff or maybe grant the party a small AoE buff. Let's not forget about enspells, as well.

Also, for new races, I don't see how it wouldn't make sense for them to add completely new races, aside from ones already introduced, seeing as how we've only been introduced to parts of the world (and there could be many more parts with unknown races).

In case you were interested to know, in the official players poll Viera was quite the popular race in regards as to which next to add.

I would LOVE for more builds to the existing classes, I didn't even think of that as an option.

Imagine a Miqote with Roe proportions! It could be a like a feral tribe still living in the wild.
