Also, the final fight in Halatali (HM) if the drg targets me on brd I will kite him until the CNJ is dead (and the BRD too, if the party kills that one before targetting the DRG).

Yeah we have a bard in our FC who will kite the drg and solo him down fast. He also kites the last spinner rook in T4.

Kiting still has a place here in XIV but the person doing it needs to be switched on, not just a blm with agro kiting everything.

Yeah, we kited last soldier in T4 with BRD. Also, I used to tank the last spinner rook on BLM with manawall/ward and just moving through it to avoid pox. Not because BLM makes a good tank, just because both other tanks were busy and BLM is the burstiest.
