    Most players I know already beaten it. Took awhile to learn but not too long. Then it became farming which they rather not do because the difficulty wasn't worth the reward. Let's say new currency was introduced in PS when it was released, do you think players would skip it?

    Perhaps it's because hard mode dungeons aren't designed for people with full ilvl90 but for people working their way to ilvl90 when hitting 50?

    Yep. Even post-nerf, though, if you have a DPS that doesn't switch to the adds you can still have trouble. My husband got Pharos for his roulette the other day; DPS didn't want to kill the adds, preferring to wipe 3 times and then ragequit.

    Yeah, I know the healer can kite adds on that one boss in Cutter's Cry, and even on that 3rd boss in Pharos (actually I don't even bother kiting, just heal through them since they don't hit hard and the boss is made of paper), but even after the nerf, that still doesn't work on the first boss in Pharos. His adds hit hard, add that to that exploding crystal debuff (whatever it's called) and the ground AoEs, and the fact that he actually has decent HP and defense, and... nope. You have to kill them. I don't know why this is so hard for some people to do, but apparently it is.

    I don't mind that gear is getting to the point where older content is now becoming easier. What does bug me somewhat is why they feel the need to dumb down older content at the same time. Make it one or the other guys!

    They removed mobs from dungeons, made boss fights easier (I'm looking at you, Demon Wall!) and generally gave everyone a clear road. Perhaps it was intended to get people to the same level at a faster pace, but it does make repeating the older content less enjoyable as a result.
