    Nope, that will never happen.

    Every installment of coil is supposed to last SE for 6 months so as they plan. If loot is made like CT, it will only take 3 weeks for each turn for you to get your gears. If you are a team like BG, or quite the handful of teams that are already on T7 and T8, it will only take you 3 weeks to get yourself over avg ilvl100 in gear which will make your life in the 2nd installment of coil even easier. After that what do you want to do? Come to the forums and complain you had all the loots, bosses are easy and there's nothing to do?

    And not to forget without loot lock out, coil will be sellable which I don't think that's what SE and even players want to see. Not trying to be elitist but coil gear actually allows me to gauge players I met in pug how good they'd probably be. If I see you with say High Allagan weapon then you should be good stuff, and if I need people to play with on the tougher contents, I'd know who to approach for a smoother sail.

    Anyone can complain about what SE has done wrong but I'd strongly agree that the lock for coil is done right.

    You say you don't like that when you get home late you get left out by your "friends". Sounds like their not very good friends to me? Have you considered setting up a schedule? If they are your friends and you want to do coil with them they suggest that everyone meet at a time that is convenient for all so you can do coil together? That's what a smart person would do...If they aren't willing to wait, then so called "friends" aren't really good friends at all.

    No way dude you can't be self-resourceful, the better solution is to endlessly complain on the forums about the game design holding you back and anything else that isn't your own (lack of) ability.

    Instead of treating game design as a lesson of how to adapt and get better, we should just complain until it's changed to suit our uncritical attitude about ourselves. That way we never wonder why pug groups are always "jerks" to us.

    New turns should have used lootlock with little twist, instead having one loot in a week of your choosing you should get locked for said turn even if you didnt get anything. This way FC's could still "spam" turns for peoples that missed their weekly run or just for training/lulz.

    First 2 weeks of coil lockouts being removed from 1-5, I had ALL I needed for both SMN and WHM. With a good static what's stopping me from doing the same with 6-9? Then what would I do for the next 2 months?

    I feel like this is the best way to do it (Although I'm certain there's an argument to be made there about 'do it with 8, then swap one person so they get all drops, then with another so they get all drops').

    It's not even always about getting the loot - it's about the fact that your FC has about 10 people capable of entering the Binding Coil and eight of them are already grouped up and you're kinda left out in the cold except when you get lucky enough to be called to sub in for one of them, so it's content that you just don't get to experience without opening yourself up to groups you might not trust/like.

    Why was it not given the loot lock out this way we can all enjoy at our own leisure? Why do I have to wait till 2.3+ for that to become unlocked and something even better comes out?
    they want you to pay for your gear thats why your limited to 4 drops a month & 1800 tomestones a month. there selling you that gear.
    i decided to try 2.2 cuz i thought they were gonna fix things but nope, the same gear treadmill with limits on progression.

    Wow, yeah, you're so right. People could have fun and play with all their friends, and we obviously don't want that. Instead lets separate them into statics and force some people to be left out entirely or to find an entirely new group of people to do Coil with. Because oh man, if people gear up too fast they might unsub!!! Or maybe if there was more content in the game to do besides Coil2 they wouldn't and the lockout is literally the only reason people are staying once they beat T9. That's not a good thing. At all.
