Daystar set and your piety.

Sorry but... Why do you need Piety if you don't raid anyway? For the None-Raid Content you don't need that much mana, are you sure you aren't doing something wrong like not holding Shroud of Saints on cd?

If you read what I said you will know that I dont raid now but I plan on doing it, cause raiding isnt something like PVP, something that you can just ignore and live without it, sooner or later you'll need to raid if you want to progress in the story mode, so Ill start doing it once I get my full daystar set.

This is actually why I won't be upgrading many of my slots to daystar, even sans High Allagan drops...
This is a little worrying since i91+ PF groups are already appearing, but as long as I can run most stuff with my FC, that's OK...

With the passive regen that comes from >5k MP and following all the MP management guidelines for WHM, it's very very rare for me to run into MP issues...

I don't really get this. Daystar gear is well above what you need for t1-5 Coil. You should be fully capable of doing raiding up to t5 with no daystar anything and t6+ with a couple pieces. You don't want a full daystar set. Daystar should supplement High Allagan to bumb up your ilevel to move up in coil.

Only buy non-bis daystar pieces if you're done buying the BiS pieces and need a place to spend tomes.

I guess you do all kind of end content, I dont do any coil nor extreme but I plan to do those once I get all my set (If I ever do after knowing this) but I wonder after what you have said, how come a lot of people doing the hardest content complain about the lack of mp in certain situations.

I found this to be rather funny. Although you may not raid now (I know you plan to), the previous Coil Turns 1-5 were better off with a mix of Allagan & Myth bought gear at the time, especially for WHM. Most of the jewelry was Crit based so made it better for a SCH, but the armor was mixed between wanting Allagan and Myth.

Personally speaking I find Pie to be a stepping tool for raiding. It's great to have in the beginning, when you are unfamiliar with fights and learning them, much as I find spell speed to be the same kind of stepping stool. However, once you learn the fights, and can anticipate incoming damage, mechanics, movement, etc. it becomes far easier to manage your mana. You also have to be comfortable with your other healer partner. My current raid setup I am very aware of what my Scholar partner will do during certain situations, so I can just sit back and heal some one else, or regain a little mana in the process.

Again this is purely based off my own experience, it isn't law, I'm not saying Pie isn't a stat to go for, I just personally feel it loses its' usefulness after you become more familiar with the fights.

Sooooo, my opinion doesn't count for Basics which apply on every Class in this game?

1. Daystar Left site is crap for WHM.
2. iLv 100 is not needed for t6-7(maybe even not for 8 if rly good players), especially not for healers.
3. all in all, no reason to be wondered about the missing piety of the daystar set since its BiS for SCH not for WHM's. (Beside Right side)
