Hmm what? I don't mind you having a preference to having larger egi's or what not since that is personal taste but other than more abilities this is wrong.

You do realize that at level 37 you lose fester if you go base arcanist? As well as about 10-20 potency off of every attack for your summons? For what exactly? Aero? Blood for Blood? Those abilities aren't worth having compared to 300 potency off of GCD every 20 seconds and stronger egi's. Edit: 300 potency every 30 seconds at your level, in 3 more levels it's 300 potency every 20 seconds.

Also think about it this way, at level 50 you get 10 cross class skills and no job skills with arcanist. At level 50 summoner you get 5 job skills and 5 cross class skills. So you end up with the same amount of abilities anyway even if you have lower now. The abilities you do gain as a summoner make the damage gap between a summoner and arcanist even larger. (Fester, Spur and to a lesser extent Enkindle).

how is that personal taste when the summoners avaters Egi don't even look like the rest of the final fantasy series?

Yeah I'm sure it gets better at lvl 50 as summoner doing DoT ... lol
