SMN is the dps job spec for Arcanist. It's going to be the same as the base class, thats just how it works.
What you're asking for is not only a change in the SMN job itself, but an entirely new class that would function completely differently. FFXIV is not built to allow a pet focused class to function. It just won't work outside of you becoming the pet outright to remove your character from the game, at which point you stop being a pet class and are now a shape shifter.

And a bigger egi won't work because it will get in the way of other people having to target or seeing mechanics and many things. It's already bad enough when a Lalafell gets targetted by Divebombs or Devour and there's highlanders/roes in the party. And for the same reasons, a miniaturized version of the primals would just be shitting on their power. I'm pretty sure Titan-egi takes more resources to animate than regular titan as well, because while he's smaller he has more stuff going on.

Thats why I'm asking for a option for those with crappy graphic card can have it the way it is right now but then again they won't do it because of ps3 limitation.

OMG, In FFVII (the bestest FF EVER) there was these awesome cutscenes when you used a summon and it did awesome damage. THAT is what SMN should be not this garbage SE gave us now...

because OP has no valid argument. Just from what I read, they just sound like a rich spoiled kid wanting to put glitter on their first car. Summoner does massive damage. I'm not one for calculations but there is a reason why they are top 4 to being targeted first in pvp.
OP will continue to cry until this thread gets locked or people just let them throw their fit and just look away in disgust. Maybe if they took some time to put their egi on obey and micro-managed instead of AI they'd be happy? This thread is just a train wreck of tears.

also most people playing ff14 are mainly playing or started playing because its a ff game in a ff universe,so why ruin this games lore/universe for some cosmetic flare that you would stop noticing 2 weeks after you got it.

Because the Summoner is not a DOT class it's a summoning magic class which means they should be summoning all elemental damage and Primals. Beast Tribes don't have a Summoner they have a High Priest which don't have summoning magics so the only way they can call the primals is by performing the summoning ritual.

I like the egis. they are the perfect size for a lalafell.

plus they would take up too much space in raids

Dont mind the size, would prefer if they were more detailed, titan egi looks sucks, would definitely prefer it to look like the titan adds in extreme.
