Here let me play the devil's advocate for a bit. Lets say that after the first 35 days this is implemented, Cause I do believe SE is going to get a few houses that are inactive. So after the first 35 days what happens when No FC loses a house? If no one ever loses a house how will that help anyone? The point of this is to free up plots of lands for FCs that are active. What if none every come up for sale? Then what are FCs suppose to do? I play on a Legacy Server and there are still lots of Plots for sale. Maybe because the prices are to much for people? I don't know. But I do know many are waiting on more Wards so they can get into certain areas.

As for this whole "Ghost Town" or Empty Wards thing how do you know? There are 30 Houses per ward, What if half of those FCs play when you are asleep. How would you know which FC is active and inactive? Are people going to go door to door to see who is home? "Oh I went to that house everyday this week and I didn't see anyone there, maybe we can buy their house soon". I doubt SE is going to be able to display days remaining for everyone to see, But I could be wrong. I don't walk out my FC door and say "Man this place sure is empty I don't see anyone"

See that's the number one issue I have. If I take a break for a month with the intent of coming back before the 35 day, And something happens and I cant find away to get on I'll be screwed. If the time was 60-90 days then I would have enough time to get back to it. If for some reason I was unable to get back on by the 35th day and SE implemented a compensation plan like I suggested, Then I would only be out of furnishings. I could live with losing furnishing those are pretty easy to get back and the cost is very cheap. Where as if I did lose my house, I would then have to wait for another FC to lose their house so I could buy up another since SE doesn't want to add more Wards.

Let me ask you a question, if you did in fact lose your FC house...and your basically the sole person in your FC, would it not make more sense for you to get a "Personal house" since that is more in line with how your using it anyway? I am just asking, since the requirements for keeping a personal house will very very much be nothing like a FC one.

I would also imagine they would likely never delete a personal one anyway. If its not totally instanced, as I suspect it might be, then they will treat it like LoTRO and have the 999999 wards everyone is asking for with FC housing.
