May I ask how you would handle it? Curious.

Arkista has mentioned 3 main suggestions that have come forward repeatedly throughout the thread:
Adding more instances instead,
Extending the period to 60-90 days
Sending some sort of compensation to the FC leader/bank (such as a land deed comparable to what was lost)

I'm not sure the compensation route would really work but the other two I strongly support.

I don't have an issue with them wanting to remove an inactive Free Companies house. I do have an issue with SE only giving players 35 days. So what I have suggested and some people have suggested stuff too.

1- Extend the time to 90 days. That should be more than enough time for people to return from a break. Patches are every three months.
2- If it must be 35 days. Then upon the forfeit of the Free Company House, It should become a Land Deed and a Building Permit for the same size land that the Free Company had purchased. And sent to the Free Company Leader via Moogle Mail or sent to the FC chest.
3- Add more Wards. I mean honestly if you have the money to buy a house would you wait 35 days or more just to try and get a certain plot?

I think Option 1 is the easiest. And I think option 2 is the best if it must be 35 days at least then you only lose Furnishings and even then that could be millions of gil. Option 3 is what SE should be doing.
