thanks. Like you said, speed running with PLD is just flash flash flash COS flash run pull flash.PLD is more reliable, WAR is quicker.
PLD has access to Hallowed Ground for the first or second pull, which basically lets the healer get off a Holy or two. Alternatively you can use it for it's intended use and press it when you need heals.
WAR requires more attention from the healer, but has 2 AOE abilities that they'll be spamming to generate threat that actually do damage. PLD only has access to CoS and is otherwise spamming Flash. It's not much, but it adds up. WAR also does more damage on bosses as they have access to a plethora of offensive cooldowns as well as, y'know, Storm's Eye.
I wouldn't level WAR just for speed running this though, it's not much of a time difference with PLD and it's less stressful on your team.
I kind of wanted to someone to say that WAR would take like 2 minutes off the time on its own -_-
It does lower the time some. Berserk + Unchained + Bloodbath allows for 200 Overpowers per target, and around 400-500 healing per overpower. That's with an Ilvl 90 WAR, it does add up. That being said, PLD is still workable, and is definitely safer. A good WHM can easily spam holy while keeping a WAR up also, but if your tank isn't Ilvl 90+ yet, you will start suffering with a WAR more than a PLD, when it comes to Holy frequency.
I was very surprised to say the least.

I guess the Dragoon was contributing to the AOE damage on the big pulls, but then really sped things up when it came to burning down the two bosses? My favoured group of Warrior, double Black Mage and White Mage/Scholar can often get to the 2nd boss in under five minutes, but then the run slows down because of the lack of melee single target DPS.
