war/blm/blm/sch seems to be best and with 4 pulls like Nabian mentioned. People like to shout for bard for some reasons I don't know but when I run with one, it's always slower. Foe Requiem doesn't make up for the lack of more flare.

How much difference though? For me a WAR/PLD, BLM, BRD, WHM combination will take about 7mins for a myth SR and about 12mins for a full run.

Shit, Managed to do a 5min 56s run with a WHM, BLM, BRD, PLD(me). Was glorious. We averaged 6m 20s though.

BLM BRD DPS comp seems to be the go to though, get LB faster that way and some other various things BRDs bring to the table that I don't know ><

U don't need all mobs for 1st pull. Just 8, before the last coeurl.
Lock the coeurl, opo-opo & flower outside from 1st boss battlefield.
I'm pretty sure SE will change this soon.

2nd pull will be the 9 goblins. Stack them in one place & spam aoe heal.

3rd pull will be 2 goblins & 1 coeurl. These can't be skipped.

4th pull, u can skip the big brown coeurl if u kill fast enough.

Last boss, save the flare & prepare DoT. Cast the flare with swiftcast right before he start circling.

11mins for full Soldiery SR & 6mins for Myth SR is already good

Why the rush, I am at 3rd book and I do it slowly that by the time I finish a book I will have enough myth to get another without needing to do much speed run. I just run roulette, do some dungeon once in a while. 2-3 speed run and I will start to get bored and sleepy, I rather take my time than rushing through now.

In a true Brayflox SR, you'll want war, blm, blm, sch. If the healer is good and blm know how to dps properly you should be able to pull all mobs from start to first boss in a single pull. The next pull will grab ALL the goblin guards ignoring the raptors (ie., all the mobs to the second boss). Third pull will be to the gated door. 4th pull will be to the last boss. If you take more than 4 pulls its not ideal.

P.S. A normal non-SR version of brayflox with randoms typically will take me 16-18 minutes.

BRD requiems, BLM and WHM eat through stuff with Holy/AoE spam. Although the best run I've done was 5 minutes, 18 seconds for the first two bosses with DRG, WHM, PLD, BLM.

question: does WAR really do this much faster than PLD? My WAR is sitting on 38 right now (have pretty much full allagan + some myth and noct pieces (no relic obv).

Would it be worth it to level WAR to 50 and get Dual Haken to cut my speed run times/break up the monotony?

I love doing this with PLD but it is little more than pulling and managing cool downs.
