    I meant more like "Red Mage will be more of the same crap we had in XI instead of being melee capable and/or a magic fencer". Remember, I hated refresh-botting, I hated being stuck with "support" as my only viable role in a party, I hated not being able to live up to the Red Mage concept in content that mattered, and I hated seeing my rapier collect dust.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    haha, remember, 2 jobs are still unknown, MRD > ? and ARC > ?, mayb archer becomes thief?, they used daggers in ffxi so did rangers, and wore light armor clothing(leather and tunic). i know GLD has the daggers but who knows, since they are chnaging spells around, they might remove dagger from GLD.

    +1'ed. Thank you for this translation. It has a lot of important information, that we are not privvy to. Well, some stuff I had not expected, and some I did. Some of the armor talk as in materia and active parameter stuff has my attention piqued.
