Why does it bother you?

Apparently RNG-based quick ventures having the ability to bring back hard-to-get items rubs people the wrong way.
Keep in mind it's complete RNG and does not endanger crafters or render a crafter's 2/3 star items worthless. No one is going to rely on a retainer to bring them back primal weapons and 2/3 star items, it'd be silly to do so.
Because crafting the new three star items takes a lot of effort and if a retainer can do it, however rarely and randomly, it's a little insulting. Most people here don't seem to care about crafting but for me to see retainers bringing back those items would be the same reaction as you would have if you saw them bringing back turn 6-9 coil loot.
I don't know about you, but if my retainer brought back something from t6-9, I'd sit there and laugh for an hour.Because crafting the new three star items takes a lot of effort and if a retainer can do it, however rarely and randomly, it's a little insulting. And so would I. But the forums would explode in a rage. If you could get raid content without doing the actual raid then it cheapens it a bit. Just look at how many people complained about the echo buff and making old content more "casual".
Three star crafted items are the crafters new t6-9, I don't even think people have been able to grow glazenuts yet so retainers are getting items we can't even attempt to make yet.
Retainers HAVE already brought stuff back from T6-9....And so would I. But the forums would explode in a rage. If you could get raid content without doing the actual raid then it cheapens it a bit. Just look at how many people complained about the echo buff and making old content more "casual".

Oh and really, it's no big deal...if ANYTHING, it's actually helping the crafting market because now people know 'oh hey retainers are bringing back housing/rare etc items....maybe I can find a deal'. So more people are actually browsing the marketboards now, looking at the more 'pricy synths' and buying stuff at ALL prices. If your crap isn't selling, it's not because 'oh gee retainers can bring it back too' it's because 'I'm not paying that much for it/I can wait/I can craft it myself/screw it I don't need it'. The retainers however, made people curious enough to start looking for stuff they haven't been able to make/find on their own on the boards=sales all around (if priced right).

In all honesty, the forums explode in a rage over just about anything, including, but not limited to, the boob size of Lalafell females. And so would I. But the forums would explode in a rage. On topic, I personally think it's pretty cool.
People hate when others get nice things - This is why we can't have nice things and why SE nerfs things into the ground and make them pointless. All it does is prevent crafters from charging us 1-3 million on new stuff when it's worth no where near as much.
