When I was leveling ALC, I ended up buying tons of Cinnabar from the city Tradeskill Merchant in order to convert it into Quicksilver, for use with level-equivalent recipes. Sometime well after I had reached ALC50, I scrolled down the vendor list a little bit more and saw that he sells Quicksilver too, at practically the same price.

I tried to convince myself that "at least I always had HQ Quicksilver" in order to lessen the pain a bit. ^^;

Just found out this week that a vendor sells Cotton Yarn. I wasted tons of shards making this stuff for undyed velveteen...
