When leveling weaver, I would always go weave in the actual guild, since it's out of the way and quiet. Every day I was there, I noticed tons of players "welcoming" people. Without really thinking about the names, I started to just believe that everyone in the weaver's guild was super social and nice and that welcoming people who came into the guild was weaver tradition or something.

So I started welcoming everyone who came in.

Last night, I suddenly remembered out of the blue that one early quest had you welcoming a bunch of NPCs to join the weaver's guild. NO. The weavers in this game are not somehow magically more welcoming than other classes! DDDD;

Here's something I just found out recently.

Apparently you can put the two Treasure Hunters at the beginning of Wanderer's Palace to Sleep. Granted not necessary for Speed Runs but if you want to delay the Tonberry Stalker a bit. Just have a BLM sleep the two Treasure Hunters at the beginning.

I didn't know until like two weeks ago that if you're on a mount and you run across the border to one of the cities it automatically dismounts you as you zone. Those one-tenths of a second add up!

Before I learned what the party window shortcut was, I was always teleporting trying to find party members to promote them to leader (by right clicking on their name in the HUD) so they could invite someone...and then I found the chat command.

I honestly thought I was the only one. I swear it was named Bluefrog when I went there during the story... I swear!
