There is a lot of room for error on both titan fights; Leviathan leaves very little room for error. On a relative level, he's also faster and he's stronger than Titan. If you mess up enough, it's just game over for your group.

To mess up that bad on titan 4 people would have to eat a landslide or something lol

titan is a fight that places heavy emphasis on one element of raiding: positioning. if you can dodge bombs and plumes, you can kill titan.

Levi is easy once you beat him down a few times to know what s going on but the fight is not easy. If you dont raise a person quick (in case swiftcast is down) that body of the person is like 50/50 unable to recover. and the DMG from levi is far worst than titan, lose a tank will make the fight very hard

Not now since a lot of people has around ilvl90, but at the beginning (with best-geared people as ilvl 70), one mistake from someone meant wipe

mostly DPS check, pos is just a small part of it, you dont really die for pos a bit wrong but way to wrong can send you off the boat

Proper positioning is the most elementary skill in an MMO. Fire is hot, water is wet, don't stand in the dragons mouth, etc. It's pretty much the core ability that everyone needs to have for pretty much every fight.

Poor positioning on Titan generally leads to the death of yourself or your group. Poor positioning on Leviathan means a bit of damage taken and a small chance at being thrown off, but only if you're already at the edge. The knock back is only around 10 feet or so, so if all you do is afk at the center of the platform you'll never be thrown off.

I'm not seeing how that necessarily equates to "lots of room for error"

Most likely doing how Coil is. First two weeks must be a full party, then you're able to solo queue. Not entirely sure why this is in place, maybe Square thinks people can get a chance to learn the fight with learning parties before going solo although it's not that easy since people have little patience and will leave after two wipes. There are the exceptions, me included, that will stay with the ground till the end and learn though. It's just a needle in the hay stack.
