You do know the ilvl 110 Relic will not be released until 2.3 so only reason people would want it now is to get a head start. Right now only ilvl 100 relic is out because SE doesn't want too many players hitting Coil 2 T9 just yet and wants too keep enough players in T6-8 zone until 2.3 which is the time when SE has deemed to be the time to allow players to start working to T9 with the release of CT 2nd Raid for alternate ilvl 100 gears and Relic ilvl 110 Quest release.

Getting Animus now (ilvl 100) is only to get a head start once 2.3 is out 3 months from now and once Relic ilvl 110 Quest is out we will see Atma souls drop rate increased to a more agreeable rate or completely removed.

Yoshi-P stated that the relic will be getting a upgrade each patch from now so we will see 2.3 for Ilvl 110, Ilvl 120 in 2.4, ilvl 130 in 2.5, and etc.

we don't know exactly though, for instance 2.25 will see a piece to the relic chain also so who knows what ilvl it will be then maybe 105 maybe 110 wo knows

Because they can be upgraded possibly even up to 115 or at least up to that when 2.3 hits because the quest will continue up until 2.3 and most likely the future including the expansion, just like relics didn't end in Zeniths. Better to get the grind out of the way now as bad as the entry fee is.

I expect they'll nerf the grind by the time 2.3 comes out like they did with some of the 2.1 content and lockouts. I also expect you will still have gear options by the time it comes out.

There was another BLM in my levi ex party yesterday who had the atma stardust and 2 books completed. I had the allagan secpter. He had 7 more int than me. That was reason enough right there to continue the fate grind. It was also reason enough to hate his guts.

And sorry if the rng complaints are annoying, but trust me, being boned by the rng is way more annoying.

The allagan scepter has more weapon damage, c'mon man you should know your stat priorities.

derp moment for me. i had just assumed that because of the ilvl100, the weapon dmg was better. (in my mind i knew the truth, but my anger at the atmas clouded my momentary judgement)
