Atma is iLv100 with zenith stats.
Animus is the real ilv100.

I know its been said, just had the need to make it clear once again.

Now lets look at it this way. WHY do you want an atma when there are stronger weapons. The NW and coil 2 are basically better in terms of stats in armor, accesories and weapons, and if youre complaining bout a skill based challenge, theres coil and primals. Theres no need to finish your atma/animus when the quest isnt even done yet. Theres more to do on the game, try something else. Farm gil on roulettes, run coil 1 with other players, teach the newbies so that theres more experienced players on your server, craft or gather if youre tired of the grind. YOU dont NEED your atma right now.

So you needed your own thread for this when others have voiced your same opinion? Few people will have the new Coil weapons for quite some time. Leviathan Ex is fun and I don't see it as much of a time investment. Many people (like myself) want to get the most grindy-crappy-rng weapon out of the way first. We know future updates will make the relic stronger and if it still holds true "customizable" in the near future.


Edit : Many people are also stuck on Titan Extreme...so there's few Party Finder groups for Leviathan Ex at the current time.

Why did you make a thread to tell us stuff we already knew? Atma may have the same stats (at the beginning) but it's a step toward the relic weapon progression. Other weapons are sidegrades.

No other weapon has Parry on it, and I like my parry thank you. And who knows? Curtana may end up BIS after all the upgrades.

There was another BLM in my levi ex party yesterday who had the atma stardust and 2 books completed. I had the allagan secpter. He had 7 more int than me. That was reason enough right there to continue the fate grind. It was also reason enough to hate his guts.

And sorry if the rng complaints are annoying, but trust me, being boned by the rng is way more annoying.

I've finished collecting atma and now i'm working on the two books of the shield, after this i will get the animus shield with a balance of stats better only on the high allagan shield of Turn 8 xD So doing atma is helpfull and it will be necessary after next patch.

I really don't understand this post. Let people doing whatever they want.

If people have the time to grind away and farm a lot, let us. We don't complain, its only those who don't have the time or patience that start to whine about not getting something handed straight to them.

And by the time you get those upgrades, there will be more weapons from other primals and dungeons that outrank it.
Your relic is a long term side project. But I do think there should be a limit on how many tries you have until they just give you the drop.
I'm thinking 1,000-10,000 range.

I would happily do 5000 fates if in doing 5000 fates, I was guaranteed the drops I need.
