All great tips - thank you for helping. As a SUM I almost never control my pet (I do the increased damage and dot ones, but that's about it) so the biggest difference I'm seeing between SUM and SCH is you actually need to control the SCH pets a bit more, had to tweak my ps3 hotbars to add some of these commands last night, haven't given it a go just yet but will soon. Thanks for the help.

For any serious content, fairy placement is pretty important... I'm not sure how it would work on the PS3, but on the PC I bound my middle mouse button to place the fairy...
And, you may also want to have macros that use both physick and embrace together, and adlo and embrace, or alternatively (depends on your style) have embrace on the hotbar and use it alongside those two skills... The second option means you can heal two targets at once, which is very powerful... Rouse and whispering dawn also go very well together, though I don't recommend macroing that combo personally...
For lower end content you can just leave the fairy on cruise control, but harder stuff does take effort to manage and you'll generally want the fairy on full manual control if you can handle it...

My personal Favourite Macro is Rouse, Fey Illumination, and Whispering Dawn macro. Sure I have to press it twice, but Rouse and WD are on the same cool down, so when it's back up I can press it down and it will go off. When having 4 hot bars worth of stuff on PC I like condensing down.

Another one you may want to do is macro your Damage spells to do <t> or <tt>, that way if you are having problems switching between Mobs and tank/DPS you can stay on one and still DPS a bit.

I love running my SCH through dungeons. Generally pull more to my tank because I get bored after all dots are down and pet is placed.

I'm a bit of the opposite, I'm a bit nervous to run my WHM through the higher level dungeons, even though both my healers are i80.

Personally, it's not really the 4 man content that I'm scared to take scholar on, even the 3 star dungeons are pretty easy... It's coil, EX primals, and so on, and unlike dungeons there's (reasonably) an expectation that you know what you're doing in those...

I really like the <tt> thing for Virus even on my WHM^^ Though for actual DPS, on both healers, I don't really do it at all unless it's cruise control content, so all my best hotbar slots go to healing/mitigation stuff...
