No April Fools for that info, it's from this bit in the article.

New information is regarding personal housing. They already have plans for the features, they have two methods planned. One is having your own personal room inside the FC. And the other where you can buy your personal land/house. They are planning to release both, and it is aimed and being worked in high pace for the next patch (2.3). (After this they will have more detailed patches.)

04/02/14 Rep/Dev Posts

Going to just go over the key stuff mentioned in rep/dev posts.

1. - 2.3 - Devs planning to add an option where you can retain your pose from /chansepose when you move. (/changepose > move character > it will go automaticall back to that pose)
2. - Devs also would like to see more vairations of poses you can use with /changepose so they are looking into this one.
3. - There is a bug for F.A.T.E.s such as the Eldermoss Horn from E.Thalanan and Slug NM one that splits up in C.Shroud - the adds/split mobs have higher HP than the boss depending on how many players participated in the previous F.A.T.E. so they're looking into this and going to try and fix this one as soon as possible.
4. - Some tanks have been reporting the rate of enmity gained seems to have changed since 2.1. Rep confirms that nothing have changed, but if players noticed a change if they can report them through bug reports so they can investigate.

Dev Post 04/04/14 Auto AFK

ご要望の機能ですが、現在パッチ2.3向けに実装予定タスクに乗っています。
現時点での対応優先度は中ぐらいです。
一定時間（コンフィグ設定可能）操作が無いと、オンラインステータスが自動的に「離席」に切り替わり、
何か操作を行うと「離席」が解除されるという仕様です。機能をOFFにすることも可能です。
ループするエモート、例えば紳士の舞のまま放置すれば「離席」になります。
まだ調整中の部分としては、自動復帰の条件をキャラの移動にするか、何か入力があれば
即時解除にするかを検討中です。
後者の方が実装がシンプルで確実なのですが、ちょっとマウスに触れても解除されることになるので、
動かしてみつつ調整する予定です。
実装対応までお待ちください。
Regarding the requested feature, it’s currently on the planned release tasks for patch 2.3.
At current point the priority level for this is arond medium.
The feature is if when the game doesn’t receive any controls the online status automatically changing to AFK and once you make any movement to remove the AFK status. It’s possible through options to turn off this feature as well.

When you use the looping emotes, such as the Manderville Dance, if you use these and leave the controls it will go into AFK status.

As for the part that is being adjusted, we’re checking to see if it should automatically change status when the character moves, or if there is any slight input to change the status. The second method is easier to do but this will change the AFK status even with a slight mouse movement, so we’re planning to check on this and make adjustments. Please hang in there till we release this.

Rep Post 04/04/14 Make it so Lalafells actually stand on top of the Lalafell Step!

Players asked to make it possible for Lalafells to be able to stand on the lalafell steps.
Right now the repair NPC you put up in your housing doesn’t stand on top.

担当チームに伝えたところ「気持ちは良くわかる」という返答がありました。
より優先し開発したい項目もあるのですぐにというわけには行きませんが、
ララフェルステップを有効に活用できないか検討していきます。

It’s sad to see that Lalafells NPC’s can’t stand on top of the Lalafell Step.
I relayed the message to the team in charge, they mentioned that they fully understand our feelings.
They would like to prioritize this, so although it may not be fixed right away, we would like to look into this so we can better use this Lalafell Step.

Rep Post 04/07/14 Macro Icons

このようにプリセットにアクションのアイコンがないと判別しづらくて非常に不便です。
以前のようにプリセットからアクションアイコンを選べるようにするか、何か別の方法でマクロ管理内でも表示できるようにしていただけないでしょうか？
It's hard to distinguish and very inconvenience if you don’t have the icons listed in the preset.
Can you please make it so you can select from the presets like before, or use a different method so we can also check the icon in the macro management screen?

マクロアイコンのユーザーインターフェースは現在のものが完成形というわけではなく、段階的なアップデートを予定しています。
まずは、パッチ2.2でクラス問わず使用できる汎用アイコン追加し、
パッチ2.3では、コメントいただいているように、マクロ管理ウィンドウのアイコン一覧に、
/miconで指定したアイコンが表示されるようになります。
また、マクロをホットバーにセットした際、クラスに関わらず設定した
アイコンが表示されるよう、あわせてパッチ2.3にむけて対応中です。
将来的には、すべてのアイコンを見た目で選んでセットできるように検討していますので、
今後のアップデートをお待ちいただけると幸いです。
The current macro icon user interface isn’t the final version, we are planning to update this in steps.
First off in patch 2.2 we included general icons which can be used with all classes, in patch 2.3 like how you commented, be able to display the icon set by /micon. We are also going to address it where the icon will be displayed no matter which class you’re set on when you have this macro set in your hotbar.
In future we are looking into being able to select all icons from viewing, so please hang in there for future updates.

Rep Post 04/07/14 Challenge Log - CT/BC not included in dungeon category - will be looked into for future.

Right now you can’t progress in challenge log for the battle portion doing CT’s or BC’s rep here is letting us know that for future they will look into if this can be added or not, while checking the overall game balance.

できたらレイド枠もダンジョンとしてカウントするようにしてもらえると嬉しいです。
The dungeon category for the Challenge Log excludes raids (Crystal Tower). It would be nice if you can include the raids into count for this dungeon category.

クリスタルタワーや大迷宮バハムートを対象として加えるかは、
全体的な攻略状況のバランスを見つつ、実装可否から検討していきます。
We will observe the overall balance and look into the possibility of adding Crystal Tower or Bind Coil of Bahamut into this.

It's just speculation and theory and worked for this person. Basically use the Eorzea's Real Local Time (JST in bloggers case) time 12hour time and match it with the zodiac signs

I thought of this one also and was doing this but I dunno man... there were times it didn't drop within those time frame so I wouldn't say it's 100% but this person did this method and got it in 3 days.
Maybe increased drop rate? I thought it was my subligar that made it drop 100% hmm
